When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

And I was alone, all alone there for my internship. And out of nowhere, such a coincidence, I met Chakshata at my office. And to my surprise, we had never talked so much even back in Japan. But we bonded so much over the four months of my internship. We just started off with, you know, catching up with each other. And then we started to hang out frequently at my PG. And eventually, we started this beautiful bond, which is still restored through the internet. I am so glad the internet.

So recently, last month, I met my friend, Abhishek, who happens to be my childhood friend and I've known him since I was in 9th standard and it has been almost around 8 years since we have been friends and during all these years, we have moved places and went to totally different parts. He was in Delhi, I was travelling to Chennai for studies, then working in Bangalore, but still we had that unconditional bond between us. When we met, I just greeted him with a heartfelt hug and it was really nice seeing him after a long time. I just couldn't help but notice the changes that happened, the changes in him physically and then while we were updating each other about the life updates is what made the conversation and the whole experience fun. I say it's always a pleasure for me to meet with Abhishek, not only because we know each other for a very long time, but we have seen each other grow, change, fall and we have been through all those things, we have talked about all those things which makes the experience of these exchanges really fun.

Diwali time is the most celebrated time in the year. At the time of Diwali, all my cousins and friends get together. We spend the day before Diwali, we spend the entire night playing cards. Playing cards is not only a game of fun but sometimes we make it more funny by adding an amount or by adding some extra work, just like a task. So, on the eve of Diwali, we celebrate, we play the entire night. And we give many hilarious tasks to different friends who lost the game. One was we asked them to randomly put a paste on someone's mouth. And it was so funny when the person woke up, his mouth was full of toothpaste. So, these are my few moments which I always appreciate.

It is great to have such friends who are always by you no matter what and they never judge us and they never be insecure of our insecurities. She is very close to my heart as she has helped me in various dramatic situations of my life where I was just hopeless and lonely. She is always there when I am sad or when I am happy. I love spending time with her. Her name is Rashmi. She has a great nature and a great personality. As a friend, I would love being always with her and want us to never be apart from each other.
