When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

    Band 6-7

As I am a vandalist, I like to travel often. I would like to prefer a bicycle or a motorcycle. In my summer holidays, which is mid-May to April, I often go with my friends to the Pondy, which the place is so beautiful. They have the beautiful culture and the territory of the Saman Territory, where French people are the most beautiful people. I love admiring there. I love to visit the beaches and I spend my every holiday in the Pondy Territory only. I love to go with my friends. My friends are my closest ones. I like enjoying there and I spend a quality time with my friends. I love drinking there, eating French fruits, roaming the streets. I love to explore everything in the streets. Every time I go and visit, it feels new to me. Sometimes, I go with my parents also. But with my parents, I always feel restricted because they say they have to follow the dress code. But with my friends, I just roam freely. They don't judge between me and my dresses. They will always say, whatever you prefer, you wear, which is comfortable for you. So, I always go with my friends. Sometimes, I love to explore with new strangers. I also went on a solo trip in September 16, which is my birthday. I explored new people. I stayed in Auroville. Everything was a new experience for me. I learned a lot. I became a strong and independent woman on that specific birthday. It was an incredibly nice experience.

Travelling, travelling is a very intruding topic. In today's world, to travel somewhere is to live, is to get a break from the regular life you have been living. I always loved to go and travel. From childhood onwards, my parents has always inspired me to travel more. They always tell me to travel, still when I'm young. Since they can't travel that much due to their old age, they always motivates me to travel more. I like to travel by public transport. Public transport is very convenient since you don't have to take tension of driving the car, refilling your fuel, and you know, etc., etc. So I usually like to go to the mountains, I'm a mountain person. So I prefer mountains over beaches. I used to, I've been to many places in Himachal as well as in Uttarakhand. Whenever I reach there, I used to stay in a hostel. I mostly travel alone. I'm a solo traveller, and there I used to trek to places where I always wanted to be. The last year I've done trek of Brahmta, for which I've been to Uttarakhand. And in the trek only I've met a lot of new people, people from different professions, from different life. Everybody is living a different life. Travelling helped me meet those people to have a glimpse of their life, to know what other peoples from different backgrounds have been doing. You know, you have always the information about your people from your childhood, your friends, but not the people outside.

I would love to have a car trip with my best buddies named Vaishak, Heather and Kishis. I would like to start from the very bottom of India and go all the way to Jammu and Kashmir on a road trip in a car with Vaishak driving. We would have constant stops every state to try out their culture and food. Moreover, we would argue a lot and have a lot of fun because that's what friends do. It brings me immense joy when I'm with them and I feel like a long car trip or a drive trip is really necessary for all of us to connect with each other as well as to connect with nature and to connect with our roots from all over India. Exploration also takes a major part of our curiosity and we'd want to go around exploring the new places which we have never been to.

A travel that I'm dying to do is the one with my friend Rekha. We have been planning this for a long time but every time when it comes up we get distracted or it either gets cancelled. It is a road trip in New Zealand traversing both South Island and the North Island and we would do it by a bicycle the half a way and then we would like to rent a car which we have a plan to convert them into a small living place so that we don't spend much on other accommodation and other food necessities. So this hub is mapped in Melbourne. We will start from the southern tip of New Zealand and then we go along the land and then we get a kayak and then sit mounted on the top of a van and then whenever time we get we can kayak and then move forward to different cities and end up last in the northern side of the New Zealand and we would love to do when it is summer in New Zealand. We have heard the winter and the rainy seasons are horrible and New Zealand mainly known for its unpredictable weather. We don't want to take chances there and that's all about it. I hope it's gonna be fun and half way we would do it with bicycle and the rest how we would like to do in a car.

I have always wanted to go on a motorcycle journey from Delhi to Ladakh but as of a brown family my parents never allowed me. I would like to go on that trip with my childhood friend Aryan because I trust him a lot and I know he will not run out on me and help me in any situations if we get stuck anywhere. I would like to go with him because he is very helpful and he will always help me and I would follow the trip in October because there is snow season in Ladakh and you know when it snows in Ladakh it's just a world's wonder you can see by the ice and then there is Pangong lake which is located in the center of Ladakh and the scenic views in the road journey will be an amazing thing to look at. We all know that Ladakh is very far away and it is very difficult to get there but once you complete that journey people say that it is an experience you will remember your whole life and I would obviously like to go there by a motorcycle because you know by going on a plane or a car would not give that experience which we will have on motorcycles feeling the wind on our faces.

    Band 6

So, a bicycle is a kind of machine or like a vehicle which we use to travel from a place to another. It's like, you know, you move it physically, not using any machinery. And a motorcycle is also a two-wheeler vehicle which we use for traveling from one to other place but it's like, it's figured, you know, it has a motor which don't need a lot of, you know, efforts, a lot of work. It's a human made. Car trip. Yeah, of course, I love to go on car trips but still there's some contradictions that I never, you know, like, you know, traveling mountains or like sophisticated places. Like, you know, if I was in a car, so I have some, you know, special feel like, I never can even, you know, feel good or not. I always become, I get sick while I was traveling somewhere. It's because, as you know, I can't handle that environment but still I love, you know, traveling. So yeah, I do traveling with cars.

    Band 6

I would really love to go on a motorcycle trip across the whole of India with the final destination being Leladakh and I would like to go on this trip with my friends. Moreover, travel is like a safe space to me. I can get to really express who I am, what I am and it's also a great way to meet new people, learn about their culture, learn about their lifestyles and the food they eat. Furthermore, I would like to add by saying that I choose a motorcycle because it really enhances the experience of the journey. You get to feel the wind in your face, you get to feel all the different atmospheres around you and you get to see the scenery better and it's just a wonderful experience riding a motorcycle throughout the various roads, hills, forests and the lakesides. So that is one reason I chose motorcycle. Furthermore, I would like to do this in the next six months as this is my last semester in college and after college I will lose track of all my friends. We would all go in different direction. So in addition to that, I would like to go on a trip to Leladakh on a motorcycle with my friends.

We were planning to go to Bir Billing, it's in Himachal Pradesh, a small village, actually small hill stations, India's, not Asia's, second highest paragliding place. So because we heard that you can rent a bicycle in Bir Billing and there are lovely sunrise and sunset there and it's in between the mid-hours, you can actually explore the vibe there.
