The IELTS exam offers 48 fixed test dates per year, with exams available up to four times monthly.
These IELTS exam dates are divided between the Academic and General Training modules, with the Academic version available for all 48 test dates and the General Training version offered on 24 dates.

To reschedule or transfer your IELTS exam dates, follow these steps:
Note: You can reschedule your IELTS exam dates only if the test date is at least 15 days from the date you are applying for transfer. For 34 days or more, you can reschedule without stating any reason.
IELTS registration is one of the most crucial steps that must be done accurately. Any error in the registration process can potentially lead to the cancellation of the online application.

Valid Passport:
Students need to upload a scanned copy of their passport while filling out the registration form, and they must also carry the original passport to the test centre on the day of the exam.

Register Early:
It is recommended to register for the IELTS exam at least three months before the desired test date.

Registration Fee:
The registration fee for the IELTS exam in India is ₹16,250, and it can be paid through net banking, debit card, or credit card payment during online registration.

A candidate can apply for cancellation only if the test date is at least 15 days from the date on which you are applying for cancellation.
If the IELTS exam dates are between 15-34 days or in case of payment through offline channels, the candidate can make a request for cancellation by providing supporting documents.
After cancellation is approved, the refund will be processed within 8-10 business days after deducting administrative charges.
Note: While cancelling the test, if you produce a medical certificate within 5 days of the test date, you’ll receive a refund after deducting the 25% administrative fee.
If you want to reschedule your test date, then you can request a day transfer five weeks before your original test date after deducting your cancellation fee.
Make sure the new test date is within three months of the original test date. For the transfer of the test date, candidates need to pay an administrative charge of INR 3,300 inclusive of all taxes.
