When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Describing the first day of our school is a quite interesting thing. But for me, actually, I didn't remember about the exact day that I went to my school because, as you know, it is in our childhood about, I think, three to four ages and I didn't remember or I can't recall exact things that happened. But in my memory, I remember that little things that happened in that day. At that time, I studied in little for the English middle and high school in Somnangkota. And in my memory, besides this, in my memory, I remember that I got two friends named Sandra and Reshma. And we were very friends at the first time. Moreover, there were ten children in our class and I got more friendly with everyone. Especially, I remember the names, Atush, Sachin, Achi, Reshma, Sandra. Everyone in the class, I get very attached at the very first day. And, moreover, the teachers named Sandy, Achita, Chita.

I still remember that day when my father got transferred to Panipat Haryana and he had a new posting there and I had to change a school so first I had to go through the interview process for that. I still remember when my father got transferred to Panipat Haryana. It was the month of December when we shifted to Haryana. There we thought of selecting a good school so we shortlisted few public schools. One of them was DPS Panipat Haryana refinery. So there were three stages for the selection process. First was the interview, second was the writing test, third was again an interview. I was pretty nervous. I gave the interview. I wrote the test well. There were many subjects that they took the test for and after the examination, they gave the result and I was selected and from the next Monday, I had to join the school and I still remember that I was very nervous wearing those new crisp uniform, pure white going to school for my first time. I was admitted to the third standard, A division. I saw very new faces, all seeing me weirdly that who is this new boy in the middle of the term and I was pretty anxious and nervous but there was a girl that made me feel comfortable and made me welcome in her class. She sat beside me, introduced to her friends. We had the lunch together and her name was Priyamvada. She helped me throughout the day.

I have a very bloody memory of my first day of school. I was very little when I went to the school for the first time. I was only three years old when my parents admitted me to St. Mary's Convent Senior Secondary School. It was located in a small town called Dhampur which was 15 kilometers away from my house. We used to take a bus to go there. On my first day of school I remember my school bus came at my door and I started crying suddenly because I was very nervous and anxious. About going there for the first time without my parents as I was not used to going anywhere without my mom or my dad. I started crying and I shouted I'm not wearing my pants when my bus driver came to pick me up and I remember everyone started laughing on hearing that. I get a little embarrassed when I think about that memory now but it also brings me a lot of joy since I have made countless very memorable and cherishable memories in my early school days. They always bring the sweet nostalgia back.

Band 6-7

On my first day of school I started with orientation where all the teachers, students and parents met at the auditorium for the orientation. After the orientation was done, everyone was asked to go to the respective classes to leave their children. When everyone reached their classes and parents started to leave, all the children cried and my parents told me that everyone cried except me. I was happy and then I was ready to start school with a refreshing mindset. I wasn't quite sure about what was happening and I knew I was going to go back home. That gave me confidence that I was just here to have fun, do a little education and then study and make a lot of friends and socialise. Overall, my first day at school was quite peaceful and then fun I would say, which is the opposite of what was expected when you're so young and you're probably four to five years old.

Band 6-7

I have a very vague memory of my first school day, since it was long ago. The thing I recollect is that the initial feeling I had about school was very frightening, since it was the first time I was going in an unknown environment with complete strangers. And I was also trying to avoid going to the school, and moreover trying to convince my parents not to send me to school. But eventually my parents triumphed and they sent me to school. So, surprisingly the school was not as threatening or frightening as it seemed before. But in contrast, it was very much fun, since my primary school teachers were very friendly and supportive. So, the silly habits which I had during my early childhood days were treated as fun and nothing to be looked down upon. So, yes, it gave me a sense of freedom and joy.

Band 6-7

when I was at 8th standard I went to a new school I don't have in the first day of my school is much depressing because my friends are in another division and I am in a J division they are in I division so I don't know I don't know any of them in my class so I feel very sad that was the most heartbreaking situation I faced but after 2 to 3 weeks I got some friends in my class and now they are the best friends that I have got in my entire life till now I have contact with them they occasionally call me and we have spent some time with each other they are not in my city they are in different cities for higher education that's it

Band 6-7

So, the first day at school that I remember is when I switched my board after my 10th standard. I switched my board because I was told that CBSE board is much better for cracking the JEE exams. I was not that sure at that time and unclear about things, so I took that thought up and acted on it and changed my board. So, I took an admission in MPS College, which is a school obviously, but its name is, you know, it's famous by the name MPS College. So, I took an admission over there. I went there and the first day was so horrible, I felt like a complete stranger and because I was like a popular face in my school, I was the topper, I was the head girl over there, I used to get a lot of attention of my teachers and of all the students, so I had an aura in my school, in my previous school, but here in this one, it was, it felt like a total stranger, a nobody and like I have to start from point zero, so that was something very hard to digest for me, being a person that has seen all that popularity in my previous school. So, that's all that happened in my new school and I came back home, I cried a lot and I told everything to my mother that the teachers are not good over there, that they are not speaking very respectfully with me and I feel like a stranger and then I convinced them to change my school back to my previous one, so that's all that happened.

Band 6-7

So I vividly remember my first day at school. I must be four at that time when I was first enrolled into a school called Guru Nanak Public School which is in Ujjaina. So my parents left me in a classroom and told me that we'll, since my brother was also studying in the same school and they just left me in the classroom and they just told me that we'll go see your brother and we'll be back in like ten minutes. But I kept on looking at, kept on waiting, looking at the door all through the day and you know I felt like I had been cheated on because my mother, I had this feeling and my mother or father would not ever lie to me but they did lie to me that day and I had this you know this trauma. It is still a trauma for me because they lied for me and I was just four and as a four year old you would not expect your parents to lie to you right. So but then anyways I was waiting for them all till twelve or one whatever the time I don't remember but I have this image in my mind I'm sitting on the chair with the desk and looking at the door throughout you know waiting for my mother to come pick me up. And then but yes I was dressed in a school dress, my skirt which was I think grey and then my shirt was blue. I didn't eat my lunch of course because I had this idea that my parents would come and pick me up but then when they picked me up so late I said why were you so late and then they were like this is how it is you know this is how the school goes you have to be there sit all day and then not all day actually but then sit there you know study and that's how things go around when you grow up. And so yes.
