When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

When I completed my Master's and I was leaving from my college, my juniors from the same lab gifted me a wristwatch as a token of love. It is a grey coloured watch with metal straps. It is special for me because it describes the bond I share with my juniors. It keeps me motivated. I use this watch on a regular basis. Whenever I feel lonely, I look at this watch and recollect the memories which I had created with my juniors. Moreover, this watch symbolises the respect my juniors had towards me.

I got a lot of gifts during my childhood but among these my favorite one is the dinner set. The dinner set was gifted to me by my grandfather during my 7th birthday. I still remember this gift because it has a special connection with me during my childhood era. I am a kind of person who is always interested in playing in the outdoor activities such like making dinner and making a home in our local language it is called as the Kuttipura and that I am fond of such kind of activities. So my grandfather noticed my interest in such kind of activities and he gifted this dinner set to me. It has 5 bowls and small spoons all of them are multicolored green, blue, yellow, white all of them are such color. I make a lot of food by using this dinner not the exactly food it means I use the mud instead of rice, I use the different kinds of leaves instead of the curries that was my food during that time and I still remember that I spent a lot of time with this dinner set and I am little bit possessive towards this and the most notable thing is I still kept it in my shelf as a memory because when I see this gift it always remembers my grandfather's moments and I like to spend my time with this.

Well, there are a number of gifts I have received from my childhood, but I vividly remember the one gift I have received from the child, which was when I was working in the hotel. So I remember, I was doing check-in of the guests, and there was one of the guests who had came before also. They had came in the morning time, and I remember the child was very happy to see me again. And when I had given him a check-in, after that he bought a gift for me. Even he opened his luggage in front of me and gave me a gift, which consisted of toffees and the self-made card, he had made the card, which brings me a lot of joy and excitement as someone gives me a handmade card, as I never received the handmade card. So that gift gives me a lot of excitement, and I feel always nostalgic whenever I see that gift. Apart from this, I remember the child was very much excited to play with me again, as I remember when he had came before, so I had played with him, when he had bought his car and some toys with me to play, even our sir also didn't told us anything. So he was also happy with me, and when I asked the child what he wants from me, so I gave him my chocolate, which I have received from someone, and he was very happy after the time I had spent with him, and his parents were continuously telling me that the child was telling him to meet with me, and I was very happy and excited that the children are the God gifts, and when someone gifts you something precious, people always love to take care of that thing, and some of the people who do not take those things, who do not take care of the things, it's not good.

The best gift I received was a Titan wristwatch. It was beautiful. It was silver and gold. Oh, and I received it on my 39th birthday. It was the best gift because it was something I never expected. It was given to me by my husband and children. They'd never given me a gift before that. When I received that, it was like the biggest surprise of my life. I love watches, so I had a lot of watches. But eventually, this is the watch that I wear the most. It is my prized possession. It is something that I can match on all my outfits. And it looks beautiful. And I love to show off that watch. Most of the times, I wouldn't mind changing. But then I end up wearing the same watch. I have seen many other watches. But by far, this watch beats them all. As I said, it's silver and gold. So it goes on every outfit. And the battery has really lasted very, very long. It's been like 3 or 4 years. But I've hardly changed the battery once or twice. And this watch has little diamond tees on them. And none of them has fallen in the last 4 years. So it's something that I really treasure. In fact, the night they gave it to me, we were watching TV. And they just came and surprised me. It was not only the watch. I got a box of chocolates. I got a perfume. And I got a card along with the watch. So this gift is something I will always treasure.

The best gift that I have received was a analog watch. When I was studying my school days, I just only used smart watches. On my exams, they won't allow to have smart watches in your wrist. So, we have to remove it before the exam. My father decided to buy me an analog watch on my birthday as a surprise. So, when I returned from my school, he just said that, just go, wash your face and come. After that, he just gave me a gift on my birthday and that was August 17. And just after some time, I opened the gift. It was an analog watch. Its brand name is Titan. And I know that this watch brand and company was very expensive. And the Titan was one of the top class watches company in the world. And I love used to wear analog watches. So, after that, I used to wear analog watch for my exams. Its easy to me for check time every time. So, that was my special gift that I received by my father as well as a useful gift that I have been received this time.

The best gift I have ever received was a guitar. In my last birthday, my younger sister had the first guitar. So it was all a surprise party which they have organized for me. And when I just came back home, the whole entire room was decorated. So they have kept the guitar also beside the cake and all the decoration items. There were ample number of gifts there. But the one which got very close to my heart was the guitar because I actually wanted guitar as a kid when I was in college. But my dad never allowed me to buy one because he thought that if I could, they will want my guitar. The only thing which I am going to do every day is sit and play guitar. I love studying and I am not that good in my academics. But you know my sister, my younger sister, she did it for me. So that was very emotional for me and it really touched my heart. Not just that, even my best friend gifted me a sketch of my portrait. That was very lovely and very heart touching. So the students really made me cry when I saw them. But it was a mind-blowing experience I would say. And I cannot describe how happy I was when I saw that. I even played guitar. And soon I found out to join their classes and learn the lessons of guitar. It was amazing.

The best gift till date was given to me by my father, which was a car. It was given to me on my 20th birthday and I cannot explain the experience, how happy that made me. From childhood I have been receiving many gifts from friends, from families and I consider each one of those gifts very important and very meaningful. I appreciate the efforts what my family takes for me or my friends take for me and generally I consider gifts as a gesture of appreciation for someone. Additionally, even I am a person who would like to give certain gifts to my friends, to my families because I believe that it is a small token of happiness for all the people we love around us. And with occasion or without occasion we should be giving our gifts randomly, not to the people we know but also to the strangers.
