Rushing Through the Explanation

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I recently went on a trek with my friends and I think it was a beautiful experience because I had never been on a trek before so it was my first time. We went on a trek three months ago to a very beautiful place that was located two hours away from the city. So in order to go there, we had actually booked a bus and we enjoyed a lot listening to songs and dancing together in the bus. On reaching the destination, we actually had to climb a steep hill and I think reaching the top itself took us about two hours and another reason why it was very challenging was because it was extremely hot that day but the view that we got to experience after reaching the top was mesmerizing. It was just beautiful. Also because it was located at a greater altitude, it was comparatively not very hot at the top. There was a lot of breeze and I remember we spent around three hours just sitting at the top, chatting with each other, eating food, listening to songs, talking to a lot of people there and just you know sitting there and enjoying the view. Then it was by afternoon that we came down. Coming down was relatively easy and we were able to come down in around one and a half hour and again while going back we went in bus together and it was around 6 p.m. that we actually reached home. So it was a beautiful experience.

I embarked on a trip to Goa with my classmates at that time during February 2023. This was during my final year of Masters. We embarked on a trip to cherish the good old memories that we had during our college days and also to experience Goa, a place that we had never visited before. The planning phase began back in November 2022 and we finally embarked on a 5-day trip to Goa back in February 2023. It was indeed quite a memorable experience as we not only visited the vibrant beaches, we also had a good time by sharing drinks, enjoying the seafood and also visiting and embarking on the nightlife that we saw for the first time in Goa.

Today, I would like to highlight the day when me and my friends visited to enjoy an exquisite sunset. Yes, it was the time around 2 months back when the whole group decided to have a group activity. Since, we all were exhausted from our hustling and bustling life, we just decided to pause everything and unwind ourselves. We just knew the fact that an amazing and a mesmerizing sunset would be a medicine for our stress relieving life. We all went together at around 4 am on the Mount Tambourine which is situated in Brisbane, Australia. And I cannot even imagine to explain how the beauty of nature fascinated us. Each and every corner over there appeared as if it was a picture for our postcards. As soon as the sun began to set, we were on top of the world. We could see the hues of yellow, blue, pink and orange mixing together in the sky. It was as if the God was painting the whole sky. It was like a canvas filled with brighter colors. We were all were filled with positivity and we just did not want that time to move forward. We all were feeling surreal and it was the time of our lives. Later that day, we decided to make it a point that every single month we will visit here and we will try to have an excursion of our own. Not only we enjoyed that sunset together but it was the time we spent with one another and had some quality time.

It was about two years ago, I still remember it very fresh in mind. I went for a skydiving activity in Dubai, in the Palm Jumeirah, with a group of people from different nationalities, different countries and different places. This was one of the most thrilling moments that I have experienced because skydiving was something that was part of my bucket list and I always wanted to give it a try and achieve it as part of my dream. As I mentioned, I did it with people of different age groups, they were mostly adults of course.

One memorable experience I had with a group of people working on a machine learning project for plant disease detection. This was a collaborative effort with three of my colleagues during a university research competition. Additionally, our goal was to develop a deep learning model that could classify plant disease using image processing techniques. So, we started this project about a year ago and most of our work was done in the university lab and through online meetings. Since all of us had different strengths, we were good at coding and other skills in data analysis and research, we divided the task efficiently. My role was primarily focused on developing and optimizing the deep learning models particularly using ResNet and faster R-CNN for the image classification. Throughout the project, we faced several challenges such as datasets, inconsistencies, model overfitting, and performance tuning. However, by the work as a team, brainstorming solutions, and running multiple experiments, we were able to improve the accuracy of our models significantly. After weeks of hard work, we finally presented our findings to the panel of judges and were thrilled when our project was recognized as one of the best submissions in the competition. In conclusion, the experience was incredibly rewarding because it not only enhanced my technical skills but also taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and problem solving. The sense of achievement I felt while collaborating with like-minded individuals was truly fulfilling. Additionally, knowing that our project had the potential to help farmers detect plant diseases early and improve crop yield made it even more meaningful. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience. I would love to work on similar AI-driven projects with talented people in the future.

I fell in love. Yes, it is completely true. Fell in love with a person who couldn't love me the way I loved him. Last year, on, sorry, in the month of October, he texted me. I thought he was the worst person alive. But then, there was a spark glowing inside me. Whenever, he used to text me, my heart would beat rapidly. And as I say, so fast. Can you imagine, can you imagine trying to heal from a person who at first healed you? Yes, he cheated on me with his ex. And I didn't even knew it was his ex. That was the irony. It took me one year to move on. And still, there are memories that haunt me. There are moments where I wish I could just go back, where I wish I could just hug him. I would just cry on his shoulders. I would say to him, why? Why would you do this to me? Why? What have I ever done to you? Why couldn't you love me? Do I not deserve to be loved? Yeah.

Recently, on the last weekend, my mother and I went for a movie together after two years of time, we did it because we were fed up with our day to day life, we were not having any of the extra activities. My mother is a housewife and she's stuck in the house whole day. And I'm a working doctor and I go to the hospital daily and we don't have any other fun element rather than doing our respective sort of activities which we often do every day. So we decided that we should bond again and we should go out have some fun and relax ourselves. We don't frequently do this but I'm glad we did and it was really satisfying. My mother and I watched movie then we went out for a dinner to our lavish restaurant. We had our favorite foods from Italian cuisine and then we came back home. It was mind refreshing for us, we cracked some jokes, we had heartfelt conversations. I personally think it was needed for both of us because we don't usually do it in spite of being in the same house.

Yesterday, while I was coming back from my office, I saw a group of children standing on the side of the road. I got out of my car and went to them. There I realized that they were looking at a dog which was stuck in a mud. The dog was crying very hard. So with the help of the children, I took out the dog, cleaned it and took it to the doctor. There is a nearby hospital. I took it to the doctor. The doctor examined the dog carefully and gave some medicines. After some time, the dog started feeling better and I put the dog back to the forest where it belonged to. The dog was quite happy.

I was in NCC, National Cadet Corps, last year and we find a task for celebrating 15th August in our school campus and we have to prepare an act for that. Many colleagues of mine was not able to do any task because they were not sure that this will work or not. So we prepared for an act in which there were a matriarchal girl army where we have to give them respect and this was all the scenario of the act. At the end we accepted all the thoughts of all the people and then we did the task in group and at last we were so much praised about the act. We did it very gracefully and our teacher patted our back for doing a good job and we finally get the prize for what we have done.

I would like to talk about something that I recently did with someone which was doing a canvas paint painting in an art cafe. So I always wanted to try painting I'm really keen about it and I really wanted to try it with my partner. It nearly took us one hour and a half to complete that painting. We both were equally involved in that. The reason why I wanted to try this activity was I really like to try new types of arts mainly where it involves colors. Also we wanted to spend our time where we are just not sitting and talking but also learning a new skill. So that was something we were really looking forward to. Apart from this we also try to do different activities such as some playing some sports or something that really develops our bond and give us something to talk about.
