When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The person whom I like the most for spending time is my little brother. I know him because he is my brother. I want to like to spend time with his because when I am with him we spend time very playfully. We can talk about everything of our lives. He won't judge me anyways. He always listens to me very carefully. He is a good listener. He helps me with his suggestions. Usually when we are together we talk about our studies, our jobs, etc.

    Band 6-7

One of my favourite people is actually my best friend, basically my work bestie. I met her in 2022. We joined the same office almost around the same time. I joined in October and she joined in November since we were both new so we usually hit it off. We easily hit it off and we had some common friends. I mean after talking on day 1, I have realised that the HR in the previous company was her friend so we got close. One thing I like about her is that she is very supportive of her friends. She has supported me through thick and thin. When I had a fight with my boss and he was threatening to fire me, she supported me. I made a complaint to the HR. We also got really close after that point because we live almost nearby so she has a car and she picks up and drops me everyday. I am an introvert so I have a hard time making friends so she is one of the very few people I like. Also in office, whenever I am on a break, I am with her. We go for coffee breaks together. We go for chai and samosa breaks as well. In office party, she spends most of the time with me only and we have a very close bond. If I am comfortable with anyone to a certain level, she is the one in the office whom I go for advice, whom I go for support and everything in between.

I'd like to talk about my best friend. Her name is Diksha and I've met her in 8th grade when I shifted to a new school. On the first day she was the person who spoke to me and introduced herself and asked a lot about myself and she asked me to sit beside her and we bonded a lot on the very first day. Even though we've had our ups and downs throughout the years and we've stayed friends for almost 9 years. And we'd usually do all the stuff together. I meet her everyday and whenever I can't meet her we'd speak on the call for almost an hour or two. We'd go out, hang out at the house, go bowling together, go to the movies, go to parties and one thing that we both love to do together is visit a new cafe. Whenever there's a new restaurant opening up nearby we'd always go visit together and whenever we can't we'd wait for each other to visit it together rather than going alone. And I love hanging out with her because I enjoy myself with her and I feel like I'm at home even though I'm far away from home studying here. I feel very comforted and there's just no stress and I don't feel any anxiety or anything when I'm with her and I can truly be my real self with her.

I remember, I know one person that I really like to enjoy and spend time with. That is my cousin, whose name is Raj. However, I love to spend time with him because he is very intelligent and we share lots of memories, play lots of games and do various kinds of activities when we come together and spend time. However, I also like his behavior towards us and the bond that is continued from our childhood. Although we spend lots of time with each other from our childhood together, but whenever we meet daily at evening, then we usually go outside and eat some snacks. Sometimes we also plan to travel to various destinations and spend a lot of time.

I like to spend my time with my mother because the silly things I say to my mother, no one will want to hear those words because those words are silly. I wanted to spend more time with my mother because it's become funny sometimes. I like to have jokes with my mother and I am so close to my mother and I don't think I've felt so comfortable with someone else instead of my mother. So that's why I like to spend time with my mother, not someone else. When I became a grown up girl, I understood that spending time with boyfriend, friends and all, it's unnecessary. The person with whom you felt comfortable, you should spend time and that's my mother. That's why I like to spend time with my mother. She understands me, doesn't judge me and really supports me. That's why I love to talk to her.

    Band 6-7

I really like to spend time with my mother. My mother has always been a source of energy to me. She is a huge strength, support, as well as encourages me in everything I do. She has been an energy booster, I could say, as well as the powerhouse of my home. She takes care of my brother, my dad, even my grandparents. In our leisure time, I always like to spend time with my mother by cooking. We cook together during the weekends, especially Sunday lunch. We gossip for some time and later get back to the cooking. That's actually a very relaxing time. I always look forward for it. I like to spend a lot of time with her. It's because of the comfort I get by talking to her. Her physical presence itself is a huge relaxation and a peaceful feeling that I receive. She's full of positive. She always pushes me to be my best. Being a working lady, balancing the home is something I admire the most and I always try to learn everything that she does to create this perfect balance.

    Band 6-7

The person I like to spend time with is my brother-in-law. He is my friend, my mentor and he means much more than a brother-in-law to me. I have a very small friend circle and he is my best friend since I have met him. We met in the end of 23 while my family were looking for my sister's marriage. He has been married to my sister since April 24. We spend a lot of time together doing chatting, video call as we stay far away from each other. When we meet, we do various tours, we travel, we go to the malls, we watch cinemas and also we enjoy playing games. The core reason why I like spending time with him is that we both like to play games. We usually go to the malls, game zones and play various games there. We also prefer to watch movies together in home or at theatre. We also play games at home. The reason I like to spend time with him is that he understands me very well. I can speak my heart out to him. However, we don't get much time to spend. We further look to spend time with each other, understanding each other's emotions. Also, he has been guiding me through my career, explaining me what to do in future, how to do it and being my support system. He is like a second father to me.

    Band 6-7

To describe someone I really like to spend my time with, I would choose my friend Rhea. She is one of my best friends I have met since now. I met her in my first year of college during an advisor level meeting that was compulsory to attend for all the first year newcomers. I admire her the most in my life because she is not just my friend, she is my inspiration for everything I do till date, either it is waking up early in the morning or dedicating my time to studies, hitting the gym, doing physical and mental stability exercises, anything. All I admire her to be the belonging. We often spend a really good time together, both of us admire eating a lot, so we spend most of our time in eating new things, exploring new activities in all of the town. We are really keen to know what all is going around us. I admire her the most and like to spend time with her because of the same mindset that we both have, the same hobbies, the same level of honesty, the same coursework we have shared across each other and we help a lot each other in our lives too. So yeah, this is what I like her the most about it. True friend is not only defined by any kind of activities we do together. The moment I realized she is my true friend was when she helped me a lot during my hard times, either it is financially or financially.

    Band 6-7

That's an interesting question. I have very, very many people in my life with whom I am close, but I want to talk about one of my best friends. Her name is Sushmita Chowdhury and I know her from my college time. We met during our BSc nursing time only and it was such an awkward moment when we met. We met in a consultancy that we both don't know each other, but we have that connectivity. I don't know, for the first time we had that, something is so much vibing between us. We have a really strong and unbreakable bond. It's been a long time we are not together now because we stayed in different places, cities, especially because of our job. Whenever we are together, we love to enjoy cooking, especially because we found that very therapeutic because cooking is like sharing your ideas with each other and helping out. One more thing we love to do together is that traveling, because we both are so much fascinated and fond of traveling, especially the new places, to explore the new places and the vibrant weather areas. Greeting with the new people, understanding their language and the girl whom I am talking about, my best friend, she is so much interested in learning languages. I seriously adore her and I feel so blessed to have her in my life because she is such a charming person. She is so much magnetic kind of a person.

    Band 6-7

One day while I was walking along a street, I found an old friend who was my best friend back in time. It was a bustling area but I managed to go forward to meet her. Once we met, we had a long conversation at the nearby park. On that time, we found that we had real connections between each other because I was on cloud 9 after talking for all that time and excited. But I felt she was little overwhelmed and anxious because she was having an exam tomorrow. However, I managed to make her calm and peaceful by playing some of the few games like Duolingo and Ludo. After all that time, we went back to our home. Since we met, we understand the relationship's value and she called me after her exam and talked about it and said actions speak louder than words which was a great compliment for me. I personally felt so happy and overwhelmed with joy. On the other hand, I was on the moon because I got a compliment from a charismatic person like her. She also mentioned I was an authentic friend to her which made me so lovable at that moment.
