When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I would like to talk about an event that I had wore my favorite clothes. It was a cultural event in my college. Every year we had to celebrate a cultural event because due to to promote our college and also gives us a happiness when we celebrate the events to promote our cultures and regional beliefs. On that day, I wore a fashion clothing like jeans and kurta. It was very admirable from my classmates. When I started admiring, I had a lot of interest on clothing and fashion. So I used to research on how the clothing is made and also these clothing are useful for the fashion designers to make an employment. So I was felt very happy on that day because by wearing this kind of fashion clothing, we look very pretty and also beautiful and these things made us to be confident. Whatever I read in my favorite book was, first we have to love our self. Self love is one of the great admiring perspective in one's life to become confident and to look confident.

Well, like every girl, I have plenty of clothes in my wardrobe. So when I have to choose an occasion, it's difficult. But this time, as my brother got married in August of 2024, that would be the occasion where I dressed my best and I loved whatever I wore. So the first event was Sangeet where I wore this beautiful black long skirt with a blouse which was backless. And it was very apt for the event as it was a night event, it was indoors. And everybody was in a very subtle clothing, that is not right at all. Then next morning, we had Sangeet where the theme was pastels. So I wore this printed Mahima Majan cream lehenga, which had a beautiful corseted blouse with mirror work on it. And it was the perfect dress for the occasion. Because in the morning, the sun was reflecting through the mirrors on my lehenga and it was just looking very beautiful. Then was the Haldi event where everybody was wearing yellow colours. Moving ahead, we had, of course, the wedding where I wore this red lehenga with fully embroidery.

So, one of the occasions where I get to wear my own dress was my sister's wedding. The wedding was hosted in India back in 2024 July, wherein me and my cousins had attended that wedding along with our extended family. So, during this wedding it was a 3-day function, so we were supposed to match the theme of the function. So, first day and the second day I was perfectly matching up with the theme of the function, but eventually on the third day I decided that I want to wear something of my own and trying to relate with the theme of the wedding. So, I went to the market and ended up buying Indo-Western Sherwani. So, let me explain what Sherwani is first. So, Sherwani is a traditional clothing in India which comes in two parts. You have a top part, it's more like a coat but in more of an Indianized way and then you have a bottom, just like a pant. In that case, what happens with the Indo-Western Sherwani is that these two things are, like in Indo-Western Sherwani, they are designed in a way wherein it slightly resembles the Western ideology of designs as well. So, moreover the one that I was specifically looking for was, and I actually got was one in royal blue color and it also had some rose gold petals designed on it all over the fabric. Meanwhile, the lower part of the dress was also golden color and then I had one traditional footwear with it. The reasons I ended up liking it is because I actually liked that color scheme a lot and other than that, it was matching with my real sister's attire as well. At the end of the day, I saw all those photos and I really liked what I was wearing and in fact, I would still wear it if I can at some occasions because I haven't worn it often.

Diwali, the festival of lights, is the occasion where I wore the saree as my favorite cloth. Saree is a traditional wear. We often wore it for our festivals. I wore the saree which is pink in color and I had a contrast blouse of green color that was very matching. And we all celebrated Diwali by cracking the crackers and also we enjoy having sweets. Then we all go to the temple and we all pray to God for good things happen for the next coming year. This way I celebrated Diwali last year. After coming home, I changed my dress.

My favorite clothes that I wore in an occasion was just a few months ago. A few months ago, I wore my favorite clothes for my brother's wedding. It was in a resort, two hours from where I stay. So, I wore a lilac color outfit in India. It is a traditional cloth known as lehenga choli. It has a blouse, like flare skirt down with a dupatta to drape around. I wore it because I like that color so much. When we went in the shop to buy, that was the very first outfit that I saw. My heart just skipped a beat seeing that. I was very stuck to buy that. After that, we saw more than 10-20 outfits. I was really fascinated by the work in that lehenga choli. The moment I saw that, that was my favorite outfit to be worn. I decided on that to be worn at the wedding day. So, I bought that on that day. I bought that before 8 months of the wedding. Whole 8 months, I was just eager to wear that dress on the wedding day. I had to wait for 8 months to control my excitement and inner happiness. But finally, when I wore it on that day, I was feeling like a princess on the 7th cloud. I was very, very, very happy about that. I loved it.

Diwali is the festival of lights and diyas. We all wear new clothes during Diwali for the Lakshmi Puja, which is usually done at the night time. Well, for that occasion only, even I shop new clothes and wear them on the auspicious day of Diwali. Last Diwali, I wore an Indo-Western dress, which was like a sari but not a complete sari. It was quite similar to it, but was different in many ways as it didn't have any petticoat inside it and no pleats too. It was a ready-made skirt, which had a look of a sari skirt and a small wheel to cover from the front. It was a really beautiful violet colour dress and I really loved wearing that dress. Additionally, I wore that dress during the puja and when I visited shops of my family members so that I can also get to know more about the businesses and to participate in the shop pujas. Whereas, we lit firecrackers too during Diwali, but during that time, I wore simple jeans and a t-shirt so that I can be relaxed and does not stress about getting caught in fire. Well, overall, I felt that Diwali was a very special

So, I wore on my 15th birthday on January 22nd at 12 o'clock at night, I wore my Adidas tracksuit that my aunt brought for me from the USA. It was perfectly crisp and I had dreamt of wearing that tracksuit for my birthday. I felt really confident when wearing that tracksuit for my birthday. It gave me a sense of confidence and a sense of bonding with my aunt, of course. And when I was cutting my cake, I realized that I had gotten cake on my tracksuit and it made me kind of sad. So this shows how really I loved, how much really I loved my tracksuit that my aunt brought for me. Not only was it a good tracksuit, but because my aunt brought it all the way from the United States of America, so that's why it felt really good to wear it because I barely see my aunt. I only see my aunt one or two times a month. So I felt really confident when I wore it and I wore it the reason because my aunt bought it for me and it was on my 15th birthday. I had worn it and we went out to go eat KFC with my whole family and I just, I still have a glimpse of the memory that I went and went to order my KFC chicken for me and my family and the lady asks, wow, you got a nice tracksuit and she really, really complimented my tracksuit and I told her it's my birthday and she gave me a free cookie as well from KFC. And it felt really good knowing that just because of the tracksuit I'm wearing, I got a free cookie and I got loads of compliments. So from that day onwards, I really like wearing tracksuits and I really love my aunt as well because from that day, she always, every single birthday, she brings me a tracksuit and she reminds me of the memory that we had that birthday. And so tracksuit, the tracksuit I remember was really comfy and it was comforting as well because I had a hood as well and I don't, I'm not really a social person, so I put on the hood and I wasn't talking a lot, but I was talking. So it was really a good day.
