When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I'm a person who always prefer listening to stories especially from my grandfather. He is the person who introduced the storytelling to me. When I was a child, I was left with my grandfather. At that time, he started telling me stories. He is focusing more on traditional stories such as Mahabharata, Ramayana and so on. One of the most favorite among them to me is Ramayana which was his story discussing about the protagonist Raman and his wife Sita as well as about their brother Lakshmanan. The story tells about the second mother of the Rama decided to send him into a forest for exile and he successfully accepted the demand of the stepmother of him. But his wife Sita decided to go with him because she didn't want to send him alone and later their brother Lakshman also joined with them and they started living there with very peaceful environment. But suddenly a cruel king called Ravana who is the antagonist of the story came to their peaceful life and kidnapped our heroine Sita and Raman and Lakshmanan decided to fight for her and it later become a war. They killed Ravana and escaped the Sita and the story is very simple as well as very powerful too. But the way my grandfather narrates it and his expressions and his emotions was very excited as well as very interesting to me.

Statues of Goddess Kali and it was each of the three forms. This traditional story was told to me by my maternal grandmother. When she was around 12-13 years old, they used to go to a fair which was conducted on a large scale of Goddess Kali with 32 statues of her. Each of one was different and had a different meaning attached to that statue. One would go there and just be in awe of the beauty of the statues.

When the best tradition culture I have experienced in my life was wearing a sari at a puja in Jaipur, it was a ritual performed for a goddess Lakshmi to provide the prosperities in our life during the Diwali festival. Also, India is a land of sari and women who are married got used to wear a sari which shows a cultural and a respect for them. When I got there, I see the women who were there were wearing a big and heavy jewelry with that sari. Also, some of the ladies were putting the dupattas on their head to show respect to our idols. And then the puja begins when we do the aarti and celebrate it in the end with the lightning diyas. Also, there was a dinner arranged for all the people who come to enjoy our tradition.
