When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, my favourite book that I have read of late, which was extremely exciting for me, was All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doyle. The main aspect of this book is war. And like every other book, it tells us how war affects people. So, in this book, we follow two main characters. One who is blind, and another person from Germany, who is forced to go into army and work his way through war, even though he is not particularly interested in it. And as we follow both of them, the book paints them out very nicely as human beings. And as we are going through it, every alternate chapter is from either of these characters. And it's beautiful. We get to see a lot of aspects of their daily life. And we get to get a feel of whatever is happening around us.

I'm not a nerd and not into book reading too much, but I remember one time my friend suggested me to read one book. She's actually my colleague where I'm working. She's too much into reading books and she's a wonderful student and teacher. So she suggested me one book because I asked her that I wanted to work in foster care this Friday. So she suggested me one book, The Lost Ladders, from Mandeep Kaur. And Dr. Mandeep Kaur has studied from Chandigarh University from Northern because I've studied about the biography. And in that she wrote something about her personal life, the struggles she was facing. I think every girl could relate because she analyzed the problems that females face every day. It was about sexual harassment that girls could face in buses. It is about the harassment that girls can face at home. And it's about the harassment that parents do and they don't recognize it that they are being bullied with their kids. And it was all about the mental health issues, problems and harassment that she has faced throughout her life. And that book is something like The Lost Ladder to give birth from her. She's not dead. She has not kicked the bucket. She's alive. She was at that moment having some depression and anxiety disorders. Now she's on the mend and wonderful and living her life in a wonderful way. But that book shows that she was mentally disturbed because of all the things she has faced throughout her life. And it was kind of a message to the world. What if she dies? This could be the last letter to the world and their family and everyone else. I think this is the last letter of April.
