When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Okay, the exciting activity which I had tried for the first time was taking the IELTS speaking test. This is something which I have tried for the first time and the environment was very relaxing. However, I was very nervous in the beginning of the test and as the time passed, the examiner tried to make me relax and as if I was sitting with a person whom I have known from before. It was a mix of both reactions and I was alone in the room and I was trying to give my answers pretty well but I was getting nervous and excited at the same time when the questions were aligning with my favourite topics or I was able to crack it down and answer it in a spot. It was a smooth experience and it actually boosted my confidence. I really enjoyed it and I really look forward doing it again and again to gain more confidence and enhance my communication skills. I felt exciting because this was something which I have never tried and it was a new thing in my life and I expect everyone to go for this. These things actually enhance a person's ability to speak out and makes them more calm and kills all the negativities and the confusing. Moreover, they also get confidence to speak in front of large groups and an audience where they can be teaching.

So I remember the time when I first tried river rafting. I was actually in Rishikesh and it's a beautiful place, beautiful little station surrounded by Ganges and there was an activity which was river rafting which actually me and my group of friends told me to actually get indulged in that particular activity and try to perform it. It was an exhilarating experience because there were like many instances in which the water flowing from the Ganga actually hit my face and actually I got to adrenaline rush while I was performing that particular activity. So it's an adventure sport basically in which there are five to six people inside your raft and you have to be in sync, you have to follow a proper team order and along with the proper dedication of swinging the bow, your raft moves ahead or backward along with the waves which will actually carry the raft. So this particular activity was one of the best experiences which I ever had because I learned many things from this activity like how a team needs to work, one should always need to follow the team leaders orders and along with that we learned time management and a proper sync of work which everybody needs to do so that they could complete one particular activity and overall it was one of the best experiences which I had like two years back and I would say that everyone should at least try it once in their lifetime because it is hell of an experience.

I tried crocheting for the first time a few weeks ago. It was very interesting due to the intricate notes and techniques of creating a piece of clothing. It engaged different functions like I had to count the stitches at the same time I had to keep track of the length of the material that I was building etc. I found videos on YouTube and followed them. They were pretty easy to follow. What made it interesting was that the focus that I gave towards crocheting was almost meditative. It helped me forget about other worries. There was a concentration that was almost relaxing and I believe I will do more crocheting in the future.

I am a person who loves to experience new things on daily basis. One time, once upon a time, I started learning cooking. It was a really nice activity to experience. After learning that, I came to know I get peace in myself while cooking. One fine day, I was learning from the best chef of India. He told me how to bake a cake. Baking was not my cup of tea, but still I tried. To my amazement, I loved what I made. It was a very nice experience. In that workshop, we had many things that we need to bake like some cookies, a cake, a dry cake and a dry cake. Chef told us that we have to be really calm because it depends upon the mood that we put into our dish. So then he took the condensed milk and then started stirring it in the maida. And I have to follow the same instructions given by him. With all my love, I started copying the chef and I don't know the results were so mesmerizing. The taste was top-notch. After that, cooking and baking became one of my hobbies. And I will surely carry this hobby for whole my life. After that, I started cooking cakes, baking cakes for everyone in my society. And they also loved that. So, this started as a hobby.

It might or might not be an exciting experience for everyone, but it was for me to be honest. It is daily routine for many, but for me it was new. I was learning car from my brother. It was not long before when I asked my brother to teach me how to drive, and as a typical Indian brother, he rejected my request. But after a couple of weeks, he came to me and asked that if I still want to learn. I said, yes, I want to learn. And he took me to the empty stadium and taught me what these things were. I was completely grappling between the systems, the clutch, the accelerator, the brakes, the gears of the car, because my brother drives a manual and he also wants me to learn manual rather than an automatic car. I don't know why this mentality affects my family that if I am driving an automatic, I am not their blood. This was a complete joke, but let's get back to the topic. My brother was teaching me and I was learning something new. This was my first time learning a car, and I knew how to ride a bike, so it wasn't hard for me to learn a car, but the shifting of gears, the judging between the gaps, and the judging the part of the bonnet that is ahead of me is always an issue for my body and my mentality because I never thought that this was this difficult. I learned it in the stadium, not on an empty road, so it was also difficult to judge the gaps.

There are many activities I have done for the first time, which I really felt excited. But today I want to talk about a recent activity I have done, which is river rafting, which I never done before. It was last summer, one of my friends came from Canada for vacation. So we went for a trip to Goa for one week. Goa is a famous tourist destination, which is famous for many water sport activities. So when I went there, I really wanted to try river rafting. I told my friends that I really want to experience how it goes like. So they planned and reached a perfect place for doing my activity. The moment just before entering into the boat, I felt a little bit tense. Before that, I was not confident that I could manage inside the boat. It is a dangerous activity, maybe some casualties or accidents can occur. But my friends told that we can do it, so they gave me confidence. After the ride has been done, I felt very excited as well as I have a lot of zeal and enthusiasm instilled in me. The adrenaline rush, I felt was amazing.

Last month I visited Rishikesh for the first time, where I was sitting on the bank of river Ganga, where I saw several people taking the raft and river rafting on the river. It got me excited and I asked my friends if they were interested to try it. To my surprise, everyone agreed and we hired a personal trainer, a personal guide with the river raft and we started our first river raft on the river Ganga. It was last month and the weather was cold. The water was also very cold. We were given life jackets and helmet and he taught us how to pedal the boat. I was with three other friends of mine and it was a great experience because of the adrenaline rush it gave us and it can be described as a lifetime experience because it was a very good and thrilling adventure. At one moment we thought we are going to drown, but with teamwork and cooperation we rafted our river.

Hiking was the thing which I actually didn't try for a long time, so I decided to give it a shot when I was doing my 11th grade and it was during post-COVID. So, I was in between my online classes and all my cousins were there. So, we all decided to go for a tour to Goa. It is located in Kerala. It is a very beautiful place and a lot of tourist spots are there. It's my go-to place. So, we just visited all the tourist spots and during the second day of our trip, our trip advisor told us to set a slot for trekking. So, we chose for the next day. So, before the start of trek, we decided to pack our bags. So, I took two water bottles, hand sanitizer and of course rock salt. Swagarman trekking is known for its leeches, so we packed a lot of salt. But the main thing which I forgot is to take a pair of footwear along with me. So, I was under my brother's guidance. So, he was the one who was guiding me throughout the trek. I was pretty nervous because obviously it was my first time and then we went to the

So running is the activity I recently tried. My friend introduced me to running. I'm kind of a very introvert guy. I don't go out, I don't mingle with people. I've got very less people in my circle. So because of that I was never into running or any physical activity as such. We started running from one place. We almost ran for 20 km altogether. At first I thought it would be difficult but as we started running I did really feel good about myself. I don't know how to rephrase everything but I really liked the experience. I did feel good about my body. I mean I am up for another 40 km of running if it comes to that. Even the camaraderie with my friend improved while we did this activity. I never thought I would get connected to this guy. He might be my friend but I've not been too connected to him.
