When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

It might or might not be an exciting experience for everyone, but it was for me to be honest. It is daily routine for many, but for me it was new. I was learning car from my brother. It was not long before when I asked my brother to teach me how to drive, and as a typical Indian brother, he rejected my request. But after a couple of weeks, he came to me and asked that if I still want to learn. I said, yes, I want to learn. And he took me to the empty stadium and taught me what these things were. I was completely grappling between the systems, the clutch, the accelerator, the brakes, the gears of the car, because my brother drives a manual and he also wants me to learn manual rather than an automatic car. I don't know why this mentality affects my family that if I am driving an automatic, I am not their blood. This was a complete joke, but let's get back to the topic. My brother was teaching me and I was learning something new. This was my first time learning a car, and I knew how to ride a bike, so it wasn't hard for me to learn a car, but the shifting of gears, the judging between the gaps, and the judging the part of the bonnet that is ahead of me is always an issue for my body and my mentality because I never thought that this was this difficult. I learned it in the stadium, not on an empty road, so it was also difficult to judge the gaps.

There are many activities I have done for the first time, which I really felt excited. But today I want to talk about a recent activity I have done, which is river rafting, which I never done before. It was last summer, one of my friends came from Canada for vacation. So we went for a trip to Goa for one week. Goa is a famous tourist destination, which is famous for many water sport activities. So when I went there, I really wanted to try river rafting. I told my friends that I really want to experience how it goes like. So they planned and reached a perfect place for doing my activity. The moment just before entering into the boat, I felt a little bit tense. Before that, I was not confident that I could manage inside the boat. It is a dangerous activity, maybe some casualties or accidents can occur. But my friends told that we can do it, so they gave me confidence. After the ride has been done, I felt very excited as well as I have a lot of zeal and enthusiasm instilled in me. The adrenaline rush, I felt was amazing.

Last month I visited Rishikesh for the first time, where I was sitting on the bank of river Ganga, where I saw several people taking the raft and river rafting on the river. It got me excited and I asked my friends if they were interested to try it. To my surprise, everyone agreed and we hired a personal trainer, a personal guide with the river raft and we started our first river raft on the river Ganga. It was last month and the weather was cold. The water was also very cold. We were given life jackets and helmet and he taught us how to pedal the boat. I was with three other friends of mine and it was a great experience because of the adrenaline rush it gave us and it can be described as a lifetime experience because it was a very good and thrilling adventure. At one moment we thought we are going to drown, but with teamwork and cooperation we rafted our river.

Hiking was the thing which I actually didn't try for a long time, so I decided to give it a shot when I was doing my 11th grade and it was during post-COVID. So, I was in between my online classes and all my cousins were there. So, we all decided to go for a tour to Goa. It is located in Kerala. It is a very beautiful place and a lot of tourist spots are there. It's my go-to place. So, we just visited all the tourist spots and during the second day of our trip, our trip advisor told us to set a slot for trekking. So, we chose for the next day. So, before the start of trek, we decided to pack our bags. So, I took two water bottles, hand sanitizer and of course rock salt. Swagarman trekking is known for its leeches, so we packed a lot of salt. But the main thing which I forgot is to take a pair of footwear along with me. So, I was under my brother's guidance. So, he was the one who was guiding me throughout the trek. I was pretty nervous because obviously it was my first time and then we went to the

So running is the activity I recently tried. My friend introduced me to running. I'm kind of a very introvert guy. I don't go out, I don't mingle with people. I've got very less people in my circle. So because of that I was never into running or any physical activity as such. We started running from one place. We almost ran for 20 km altogether. At first I thought it would be difficult but as we started running I did really feel good about myself. I don't know how to rephrase everything but I really liked the experience. I did feel good about my body. I mean I am up for another 40 km of running if it comes to that. Even the camaraderie with my friend improved while we did this activity. I never thought I would get connected to this guy. He might be my friend but I've not been too connected to him.

Very first time I have tried the horse riding, that is the very first activity and excited activity which I have done. I went to Shimla last year where I got a chance to do the horse riding. I went with my family and friends and this is our family planned thing. So it was very excited because I have never done it before. It was very excited and I was feeling somewhere happy that because it is dream come true for me. I have seen the people who used to do horse riding but I have never done it. So I just also wanted to be part of it and when I got the chance, my family and friends and everyone excited. Initially, I was very scared because I was feeling that the horse can fall me anywhere and I have to suffer from any injury but the horse rider gave me the confidence. He told me that it won't harm you. He gave me the tips and tricks which can help me to ride the horse perfectly and I followed all the instructions given by the horse rider and after 2 or 3 minutes I felt confident and I ride the horse very smoothly. It was very exciting riding a horse which is not that easy because Shimla is a hilly area and you have to be very confident while giving the command to the horse which is not connected by you. So it was scary, excited and fun. I am glad that I was part of it and I

Three months back, we planned for a vacation trip to Chennai and there is a theme park named VGP who have a fly dining activity. We all planned and we got up in the fly dining, it is a set up where there is a huge dining table is there and it will be lifted with a crane so it gives a feel like you are floating in the sky. So it was a great experience to have a dining on the sky and moreover we all had a great experience and even though we were very scared and anxious about the heights, we were able to manage somehow and I think you all should try once.

Well, I remember that time when I tried stand-up comedy for the first time and that was seven years back. So, I was pretty nervous at that time. I never did stand-up comedy in my 17 to 18 years career. And then my friend started an open mic event named Mansoobae. So, there were a lot of people out there. There were a huge number of artists present there. Some were singing songs and others were reciting what they have written, like poems and stories and everything. But I was pretty nervous at that time. I never did stand-up comedy, never did stand-up comedy up until then. But when I went to the stage, I never had the stage fear as I did theater and singing in my school days. So, stage fear was never an issue. But I went to the stage and I started cracking some jokes. All of a sudden, I felt something was there that I have this sense of humor that people really like because they were praising me a lot. They were clapping and there was appreciation that was given to me after the stand-up was completed from my side. I really enjoyed it because when you try something that you never thought you had in you, that always makes you feel special and that is the memory that stays with you forever. And for me, personally, I think that was the event that motivates me to move ahead in life, to try new things and never be afraid of anything.

A recent exciting activity that I have tried is deep cleaning. I never knew deep cleaning was so relaxing and helped clear my mind. I started doing this when I have when I had a long break between my bachelor's degree and my master's degree. I was doing scrolling through Instagram when I came across a page where the girl tried to deep clean her room and her bathroom and I found it oddly satisfying. I tried to do it by myself. I started with cleaning my clothes rack and shoe racks and clearing out my work desk. It was surprising to me that I found such a stressful thing calming. I started cleaning my room and slowly I started cleaning the rest of my house. It was beneficial for me because it also helped me to calm myself down and keep my head in a stable place while also keeping my house clean and my mother loved it as well as it helped me distract myself and get me off my phone.
