The event I want to talk about is my first attempt at organizing a cultural festival in my college, which took place in March 2022. It was a big deal for me as I was the head of the organizing committee, and I had high hopes for it.

  • Share your emotions regarding the failure, including any lessons learned.

Reflect on your own actions and decisions during the event, and discuss what you could have done differently.

Negative Tone

Using a consistently negative tone can make your response less appealing. It’s important to show some personal growth or learning from the experience.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

An event recently that was a failure was my data structures and algorithms examination. This examination took place last year when I was in my third semester and it was a practical examination. However, I did not clear the examination. The reason I didn't clear this examination was because I was underprepared and nervous. It did make me feel like I wasn't valuable and I wasn't worth living. It was a very difficult period in my life. However, I did evolve from that particular time and I realized that there was more to everything than just an examination and that I had to work a lot harder than I normally was and henceforth I ensured that I put in the right effort in order to achieve excellence.

Recently I got graduated and I got placed as a Business Development Associate, which was not related to the field I studied. But there was an interview of a very well known company EY and I got selected for the interview as I have cleared the written test of the programming and all. So, afterwards I got selected and at the time of interview I was very confident and very accurate about my answers. But according to me my interview went well and I was sure that I'll be selected for that job role. But when the result came my name was not there and that is the most heartbreaking situation for me because for the whole four years I was preparing to get a good job with a reputated position. But due to maybe a lack of something I was not selected and for which I felt very bad about it and I even couldn't face my parents afterwards because

One of the greatest failure ever had in my life is failing to pass NEET exam before my undergraduate studies. I had very hopes in it by passing the NEET I could get into medical field and become a doctor but I couldn't get it I got very less marks so I was very disappointed by that. The reason why it happened because like I lost a concentration during those covid years like there was many distractions such as the new computer came to my home so I got distracted by it I couldn't read it properly so I lost concentration by that. Finally when the exam arrives I knew I couldn't I will not do the exam better and the result went horribly wrong I got some I got nearly over a lakh in the ranking so I didn't get any courage with it so I switched my stream into electronics and instrumentation which is an engineering field. I was little disappointed but whatever the life throws at me I should accept gracefully accept it and move on so I gracefully accepted my result in the NEET and took the CET exam and got reasonably reasonably very good very like good marks so I got it into I got into very nice college and very fun awesome college named RNSIT in the city of Bengaluru. I was little frustrated and very disappointed by not getting into the field which I dreamed of from very young age but

Actually, I completed my college in the year 2022 and I joined my current company in March 2022. So, initially for the 6 to 8 months I was working in a technology called SAP and I was doing very good and I got good scores and everything was fine. I switched from SAP to HR domain. The reason is that I got a call from a head of CDO department saying that there is a new initiative that if you guys are interested, you have to start it from the scratch and you are going to work. That is for non-India hiring initiative. So in our office, we don't have any entity in Philippines and Sri Lanka, so they told me to work on that. I went there and I started working. When I moved from SAP to this Philippines hiring, non-India hiring, no one encouraged me. Everybody they mocked at me. They said, you are doing some stupid thing, you will be regretting for this. But I said, okay, I just want to give it a try. I just want to start it from the scratch and I just want to do something big. Then I started working and for the two years I am working in this non-India hiring and I have given my best, I have done my best, but still what I thought of doing in the two years was not done by me. The circumstances didn't allow me to do because there were many budget constraints, there were many internal circumstances which didn't allow me to do this stuff. But still, I'll take the blame. But what I feel is, I don't feel regret, okay, I didn't regret, okay, because when I'm coming from SAP to this, I know after two years I'm going to US and I'm going to study a course. I have fixed this in mind. So for this two years I want to do what I really like and I want to pursue what I want to do. So I just gave it a try. I don't say I failed 100%, but 50% I succeeded, 50% I didn't succeed.

We have often heard the term failure is the key to success, well when people usually deal with failure they don't deal very well with it, that is when people face a failure they often get heartbroken over it rather than introspecting as to why the person has failed and what steps should the person take in order to avoid the failure in future, well this thing happened to me as well, has happened really quite often in my life where I have made plans but I couldn't execute it properly and it led to failure. I have a passion for international law and I have always wanted to pursue in it for my career however this year it's been really tough since I have had failures after failures on this ground, I wanted to enroll in an LLM course for international law in the college of my choice however I couldn't do so, when I first learned about this that I actually couldn't get into the college I was heartbroken, I got anxious about what to do, how to get into another college, how to really make this a success, I was really anxious, I was upset but I learned how to deal with it.

The event which I feel like it is a failure for me is when I couldn't score and clear my entrance exam for the medical field that is to become a doctor. It was my I feel like a failure where I couldn't do much well in that exam and every time I go and see that face of my life I feel it as a failure for me. It was in 2026-2016 where I have given my entrance exam and I couldn't do much well in that. I have been eligible for I was passed but I was not that to that extent and I couldn't score much so that as my aim was to get a medical seat in government college I didn't do well. So, whenever I feel that face it is always imprinted in my mind that I couldn't do well and it always realizes me that this is my failure that I couldn't crack and get a seat into the medical college. Yeah but that has given me so many lessons and also opened the door for my profession which is currently now I am that is the field of dentistry. So I feel like failures are a part of life but to be honest I couldn't get out of that still I get the dreams of exam and so on moreover it I have accepted that it was not in my fate and I have moved to what the destiny has given me the field that is the field of dentistry and I will try to succeed in this.
