When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The rule that I do not like is that when we speak about things like giving the seats in the counseling sessions for the undergraduate or postgraduate, it is based upon the caste system where we have like the upper strata like the Brahmins, Kshatriyas and the other lower caste people in our Indian caste system. And based upon that, it does not depend upon the marks only. So the students who have got lesser marks than the students who have got a pretty much better marks, just because of the caste system, the students who have got even lesser marks are able to get better seats in the undergraduate and postgraduate counseling sessions. So that rule is a little unfair and it is definitely not feasible enough to say that it is not a very fair way that they are distributing the seats or they are even allocating the seats because when it comes to giving a seat to a student in any college, it depends upon the what is his credibility, how has he studied, how is his accuracy, how much does he know, it is based upon knowledge and not based upon the financial criteria from which caste he is, what are his roots from, it does not matter because opportunity is equal to all and equal opportunity should be given to every human being when it comes to job, when it comes to getting a seat in any competitive examinations or even in case of going forward in life when it comes to these job opportunities and in examinations, the caste system has to be completely removed because it is not something that is a very fair way to judge how good the candidate is or not.

To be honest, rules are essential to maintain the decorum at work or school. But here I would like to talk about a rule that I really don't like. That is, the login and logout timings at my workplace. Actually, my shift starts at 9 in the early morning and ends at 6 o'clock. It is a rule there that all the employees should be within the workplace at sharp 9 o'clock. If any employee will be late even 5 minutes, then they will conduct half-day salary. However, I do not like this rule. Because I think that restricting time will not bring out the productivity. There should be some relaxation, I think, for 5 or 10 minutes to the employees.

Band 6-7

Yes, it's such an interesting question and a rule or regulation that which I don't like. When I was working in an institute near Ranjith Avenue, it was in the year 2022. So when I just joined there, the first rule was that we should wear a uniform every day. There was a blue shirt and a black pant. So it looked very good in the beginning. I just enjoyed I was on cloud nine to wear the pant and the shirt. But then as the days began to pass by, I felt it was really a rule that which was not good. And to have that same thing, routine uniform, really it was something which was not giving us the good vibe. I can say that I was down in the dumps at that time. But then we wanted to surpass that rule. We wanted to make it so that something other could come into the place. So we and our colleagues decided that we will talk to the management. And they came to a particular point that every second Saturday, an employee can wear any uniform or any civil dress that they want, any dress they want. So in that way, we could coordinate with our colleagues and come to the administration team where they obliged. And we're very happy. I felt that these rules are not so compulsory. But to work on with the uniformity of the organization, one has to follow the rules. But there should be some times where employees and the staff could wear their own dresses.

Well, the rule which I dislike the most is bringing your identity card every day to college premises and your office. It is because I, the reason why I dislike this rule is because the security guard doesn't let you in if you do not have an identity card, no matter even if you're a friend to him or even if you have been working there since ages, since years and even if you guys are good friends or he knows you, he would never let you in because of that rule that like without identity card nobody shall enter the premises. I hate it, I do not like it, it's like, it's because there are times when people tend to forget things like when people actually, let's say if they break their ID cards or they don't have their ID card along with them and if they have any genuine reasons, let's say for some genuine reasons if they forget to take their ID cards along, then these security guards won't let them in which hampers their productivity because of which if they don't enter let's say the school, that will hamper his studies, he will lose his attendance and if he doesn't enter the office, that will, you know, he will again lose his attendance. So I believe that this rule should be abandoned and if I were the one to make this rule, I would never have made this a mandatory rule, like of course students with identity card should be allowed in but for the ones who do not have their identity card, it should not be a mandatory, like, you know, if the manager and if the security guard knows the person well, with the permission of manager, I believe he should let people enter and so that, you know, their work can be continued.

I think rules are made for developing for people but I found 40% tax on annual income is just unreal. That is just disgusting because nowadays people are living on bread and water. They hardly manage their essential expenses like grocery, education and healthy lifestyle. So how can a person survive in this era with a lot of tax imposing. For example in countries like USA if a person makes 1.5 million, one and a half million dollars he just spends 60,000 dollars he just pays 60,000 dollars in tax and the rest of the amount is very reasonable and less to spend on other things. So how can a person live and survive in these types of countries. According to me

Band 6-7

Rules are very important in human life, but sometimes some people don't follow that rule. Rules are meant for our well-being, for our safety. I don't like one rule, that is, in some certain type of jobs, women are not allowed to participate as they say that women are not that much powerful to handle that much stress or to do that much work. But it's wrong perception. Women are also strong. Nowadays, women are doing much more better than males or men. Rules are meant for us only. But in now's time, rules are not that much.

Band 6-7

The rule I don't like particularly is the rule of waiting, especially waiting in lines at different places like hospitals or bus stations or railway stations where there is a long queue and it hinders your passage further and stops you from going any further. So I don't like this emergency, I don't like this queuing process because of one major reason that, especially in hospitals, because whether it be emergency or not, you will have to wait in the line and people who are suffering through some serious illness may be hindered from getting their treatment. It really gets on my nerves when people ahead you, stops you from going ahead and taking your treatment. Also, waiting in lines, taking appointments and making yourself suffer a lot drives me up the wall. I really get frustrated and annoyed by the fact that this is the system everywhere in the country, whether it be a hospital which is very famous or whether it be a government hospital, the case is the same. And I feel this should be avoided and we should replace them with much more sustainable hospital services so that public health can be a priority and waiting in line should be not an issue for the people who are in serious illness. And this can be achieved by implementing certain policies and government officials can introduce some new techniques to reduce this.

Band 6-7

the rule that I don't like is reservation in India because the equality is between the people is not in involved in reservation there is a discrimination between like caste feeling OC, VC, SC, HT so in such a feeling the OC people which are middle class they are facing many problems due to issues that are following by rules from Constitution

Band 6-7

There is a rule in our country, when you get a job, you, you, some people are categorized on different categories like some are of general category and some are of OBC, SC, ST like that. So instead of categorizing people on the basis of these general OBC, SC, ST categories, they should divide it or they should give advantages on the basis of their income. People who have enough income should not provide much facilities or advantages, instead people who are below poverty line or who rarely earn something for their family should get some advantages and benefits in jobs and other things. This is the rule, I think should be changed, thank you.

Band 6-7

Hello, the rule which I want to talk about today is the rule of giving back the money to the wife after the both couples get divorced which is alimony. The reason why I don't like alimony is in the country where we are saying giving money to the husband as a gift or in any form as a present before the marriage is a crime and it is named as dowry and we are completely against that and we are focused on eradicating dowry. But now in a different sense this is happening as a scam where the women I know they are dependent now we are in an equal society where women is also empowered and doing their own jobs and capable of living and standing on their legs. But now what they are doing they wanted the share from the men's property which is a false statement because when a woman gets married she is not sharing her property but when the men gets married and if he get divorced in whichever sense he has to pay back his property or money in the form of alimony which is a very hard thing to do. I prefer to eliminate alimony and remove the dowry also instead I would restrict it to only the children people who have that.
