When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I would like to start by saying that there's one particular place I'd like to visit called Isan. It's in South Korea and it's a hiking trail and it's probably what I'd want to visit if I was looking for a forest area because it's dense, covered in forest and it's in a pretty mountainous region. I found out about this when I was following my favourite artist BTS there from South Korea as well and one particular member called Jin explored this area after serving in the military so it was depicted as if he had a hard time following this hiking trail because it's quite arduous and it's a steep hilly region filled with thick forests so it's probably not the best for a person who's not as athletic but I'd always welcome a challenge. And there are four stops in this trail where you get to rest and recover. So initially the first stop is around 300m high. You get to stock up on essentials like water or a packet of glucose in case you feel a bit dizzy. And after that you get to walk for perhaps 6km until the middle stop where you get to recover if your muscles are sore or you want some time to let yourself breathe. And this region particularly is lush with evergreen forests.

Back in 2019 I visited my sister living in New Zealand. We went on a vacation to visit this beautiful place in South Island that is called Milford Sound. I literally felt goosebumps when I went to this place and I find it to be the most beautiful thing on the earth. Everybody should visit this place and enjoy the beauty of it.

A place with lot of trees that I would like to visit is Ranthambore National Park which is located in Sawai Mazapur district in Rajasthan. I am a nature enthusiast and I really want and like to see tigers in wild. Ranthambore National Park has one of the highest densities of tigers in India and it is also blessed with a deciduous forest. I want to visit that forest during the winter months and go on a tiger safari. The tiger safari usually takes around 4-5 hours if you start early in the morning. I want to enjoy the tranquility that comes with the tiger safari where it is totally quiet and the only sound that comes is the humming of birds or whispering of crickets. I enjoy that calm wherever possible and I wish I get a chance to visit the national park and witness a tiger in wild.

A place with a lot of trees that I would like to visit, it would be Landor. It's in Mussoorie, Dharadun district of Uttarakhand. That place is called Jewel of Mussoorie. Mussoorie itself is a hill station and on top of that, Landor. It's filled with pine forest and that place takes you to another dimension. I don't know how to express myself with that place. It's so calm, beautiful. I think if anybody visits that place, they will definitely find peace in that. If I visit there, I would definitely go to this Landor bakery. I think they have these amazing cheesecakes and bakery items. I have seen this video on Instagram one time and it looks so mouthwatering.

So, a place with a lot of trees that I would like to visit would be the valleys of Himachal India. I personally am a mountain person more than a beach person or a city person. Himachals are the ranges of India in the north, the mountain ranges in the north, which are mostly covered with tons of pine trees or cedar trees. Himachal is like a perfect bliss, especially the hidden gems, the hidden valleys of Himachal. There are a ton of activities which you can do there, but they are not available at every single place. Activities like trekking are very popular in the mountains in India because the mountains in India are very challenging to climb on and very challenging to trek upon. Water sports are also popular at some places where rivers flow through, major rivers flow through. So mountains usually bring me a positive feeling, a positive vibe around me. It feels very fresh to be around mountains, the freshness of the mountain, the freshness of the air without any pollution of the city.

One place I have always dreamed of visiting is Switzerland, especially the small mountain village of Zermatt, nestled beneath the iconic Mothern Peak. I want to visit this place because I have always been fascinated by snow-capped mountains and serene landscapes. Switzerland, to me, feels like nature's poetry. Clean air, crystal-clear lakes, charming wooden cottages, and the peaceful alpine vibe. Zermatt, in particular, is car-free and quiet, which makes it feel even more magical. If I go there, I would love to do several things. First, I would ride the Kornet Railway, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Alps. I would also try skiing, even though I have never done it before, just for the thrill and the experience. I would go hiking through the trails, sipping hot chocolate at cozy cafes, and taking tons of pictures for show. If it's winter, I would build a snowman, and maybe write, Akhil was here, on a snow-covered bench. Just thinking about it makes me feel calm and excited. I imagine myself there, surrounded by nature, far from the hustle and chaos. It would be refreshing, peaceful, and unforgettable, a perfect escape, and a dream come true.

I would like to visit a peaceful spot deep inside the Dung Forest which is located in Gujarat, a state of India. Dung Forest is usually located in the laps of western Ghats and it's mainly famous for its dense bamboo forest and for its wildlife where we can see leopards, deers and other such endemic species which are only seen in Dung Forest and this forest ends in a very famous hill station called the Saputara Hill Station. So I would like to visit this forest and after my travel through this forest, I will reach the Saputara Hill Station and I have to experience this very beautiful way that the sunlight filters gently through the thick canopy casting golden patterns on the forest floor and the air is fresh filled with earthy scent of leaves and wood and the place will feel untouched and calm like a hidden paradise waiting to be discovered. So apart from this, this Dung Forest is also famous for certain waterfalls like Gira Falls, Sirvani Falls, Devgat Falls and I have heard a lot about these picnic spots from my friends who were my fellow mates during my graduations from Navzari Agricultural University located in the southern district of Gujarat.

While I am a nature lover and a mountain lover, as I like the sense of accomplishments that I get when I finish my treks, there is one particular place which lies in the heart of Himachal Pradesh that I prefer going the most, which is city of Krihan. It is a small town, but filled with love and serene views. I have been there multiple times, but the best experience was when I went there in the month of July as it was rainy season and it was lush green all around. I took an overnight bus from New Delhi. While I was sleeping for the most part of the journey, when I woke up in the morning for a tea break, my eyes were mesmerized by the views. I was surrounded by green mountains all over and in every direction wherever my eye could reach. I reached to the base camp and rested for 2 days, getting acclimatized by the weather of the city. And on the day 3, my trek began early in the night, somewhere around 2 am. It took us 3 hours of constant walking for a 2 km hike for witnessing the one of the best sunrise that a person can see in their lifetime. It was lush green all around and from the horizon I could see the red sun coming up as every second went by. We enjoyed some traditional food there as well because it was cold at the peak and we brought some tea and Maggi noodles there. We ate it and then went to the hot springs which is the second reason why Grahan is famous for. It felt like a natural rehab, digital detox and the meditation and reflecting on myself is something that I never get to experience somewhere else.

One place with a lot of trees that I would love to visit is the Bluff Forest in Germany. It is a huge, decent forest in the southwest of the country, famous for its evergreen trees, scenic hiking trails, and ferry trails and mostly. I first heard about it when I read some German fairy tales as a child, because many of them were inspired by this forest. And in March, walking through the tiled pine trees, breathing in the fresh air, and listening to the sounds of nature would be very peaceful and relaxing. Another reason I would love to go there is because it is quite different from my home city, which is very urban and crowded with hardly any large green space. Visiting the Bluff Forest would give me a chance to disconnect from my busy life and connect with nature. I think spending time surrounded by trees would help me feel calm and refreshed, so hopefully one day I can go there and explore it in person.
