When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I love traveling. Therefore, I have been to several hotels to stay. Among all, one of the most famous and most prestigious hotel that I have been to is Hotel Paradise. A hotel that I would suggest to everyone is the Paragon Hotel in Thrissur. It is a very famous one in Thrissur. Despite of being a resident of this place, I never went to this hotel until the age of 24. It was on my 24th birthday that I requested my dad that he takes me there. Everyone in my family had been there and it was just me that was left. So I wanted to go there really badly. It is very famous for the biryani there and I really wanted to try it out for my birthday. Oh I am telling you, the biryani was so delicious. The smell of the masala is so addictive and the flavour is so intense that I could not stop eating. Everyone loved it. I could see these cooks preparing it through the glass windows in the hotel and I felt like that was a really good thing. Because everything was transparent and I could see that the kitchen board was clean and everything was happening in the right way and a hygienic way. I really found that very impressive there in that hotel. Another hotel that I would suggest is the Indian Coffee House. But then again, it's only good for the breakfast items. But I remember going with my dad daily to Indian Coffee House in order to have that morning masala dosa there and it used to be a very good childhood memory. But I think that hotel is closed now for renovation and I haven't really seen it ever since.

I recently visited Taj Falaknuma Palace which is a hotel located in Hyderabad. So the Taj Falaknuma Palace is a palace of the Nizams which is now turned out into the hotel which is a 5 star rated hotel and the Taj Falaknuma Palace offers a vibrant culture where it is like a palace and where the Nizams lived. So the Taj Falaknuma Palace has a different experience and we can see the architecture and the place where filled with a lot of trees and beautiful garden and it was one of the most beautiful hotel in the world because it is a hotel which almost 200 to 200 years ago which is built by a white limestone with a beautiful architecture. So it has vast experience and I had an opportunity to visit because of my parents anniversary. So we had a delightful dinner with a Nizami cuisine and they had a wide variety of foods and they have multiple cuisines also. So Taj Falaknuma Palace is one of the most beautiful and the oldest hotel in India and as well as in the world. So Taj Falaknuma Palace also offers a ride in the horses where you feel like where the Nizams used to travel from one place to other. So it is totally a wonderful experience visiting Taj Falaknuma Palace. I really enjoyed it and I recommend everyone to visit there but it is quite expensive hotel.

I am sure many people have various experiences about the hotels in the urban areas. But I am going to look into a hotel in a rural area where I reside, where nearby I reside. This hotel is actually built as a 3-star hotel. There I went once for my cousin's wedding which was planned there. There they have very posh, luxurious rooms, luxurious cafeteria and all. But people think that it was not meant for urban or rural terrain. But I believe that it's a hotel which changed the attitude of rural people about hotels, about 3-star hotels or expensive hotels. It was made by a local resident but he added some affordable options while giving the luxury. And people of the rich community usually go there from the rural areas. And it feels convenient to dine out there and even to stay there. So this hotel is an example that every Indian entrepreneur should acknowledge and give his efforts towards it. It is kind of bridging the gap between the poor and the rich.

One of the hotel that I visited recently or stayed over there recently was the Royal Orchard hotel which is very close to Bangalore airport. The main reason for me to stay in that hotel was because of Bryan Adams concert which was held in the month of December. The main reason for us to stay in that hotel although it was because of the concert it was more about commute for us because since me and my boyfriend stay far away from the Bangalore airport it was very difficult for us to commute at night back home. So this is why we chose a hotel which was very close to the concert and it was around 10 kilometers from the concert area. Well almost it was a chaos over there but the hotel amenities was very nice with its infrastructure and the rooms were like very hygienic.

There is a hotel named Taj Dade Goa, Heritage and Horizon. I was there working as a, not as an associate, but as a, for as a training purpose. I was there in a Horizon property in Goa, working for 4 months. I did their training for 4 months in all the departments, housekeeping, front office, kitchen and F&B. F&B is the least favourite department of mine. I can work in front office as dealing with customers, having one to one conversation with customers, getting to know how they feel about the property, about the surroundings, about the thinking of the people, to know about how people think. I love to communicate. And also for the kitchen department, I like to cook a lot. Getting experiment in things is my favourite thing. These are the perfect things in the kitchen I can do. Housekeeping is a really good department where you need to, you'll get to know about the cleanliness of the hotel. It's a 5 star hotel, so cleanliness is the most important part of it. I did housekeeping for one half month, where I did cleaning for 30 days and 15 days I did guest service. Guest service is a really good thing where you can again communicate with the people, help them, help them with the services they require.

I am a foodie. I've been to a number of restaurants as well as hotels in my hometown as well as in other cities where I used to study. I've lived in Mumbai for four years. Moreover I've tried a lot of food there. But one of my favourite restaurant, not one of my favourite, the most favourite restaurant which I prefer to go any day over any restaurant in Mumbai is Amla Banquets which is located in my hometown and it is genuinely one of the best restaurants out there. They offer a lot of variety of food and it is delicious. So one time when I came back to my house from Mumbai because I had holidays of 10-15 days and it was my father's birthday. We didn't remember actual date of his birthday but my father suddenly said that it is his birthday. So we all decided to go out for a dinner and then we went to the Amla Banquets which is one of the best restaurant. But at that time I didn't know Amla Banquets. It was a new restaurant. We just thought that we would go there and how the food is. When we went there we were surprised by the ambience because I live in a small town. Lathur city doesn't have a lot of restaurants, fancy restaurants with great ambience. But the Amla restaurant was the first to offer a great ambience. So we had...
