When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I spend the most time with my mom. She and I have a very close bond, perhaps because she grew up with me. My mom had me when she was 18 years old. So her childhood and mine kind of went together. The times that we speak, especially when I am going through something from school or if she has problems, then she comes to me. My mom is my best friend. Whenever I talk to her, I feel like I can tell her anything. She is genuinely the best advice giver in my life. I feel like I can tell her anything. She encourages me to be strong and independent. I have also seen my mom going through a lot of issues in her life and have learned from her how to deal with difficult situations that life throws at you. She has made me into a strong woman. My mom tells me that I should be secure and independent. Oh my gosh. My favorite time to speak with her is right before bed when neither me nor my mom are very sleepy. So we both just end up talking about random things and I end up telling her about things that have been troubling me and I hope she does the same. She's the best.

So basically we are a family of four that consists of my parents and a younger brother. My younger brother is one of my favorite person in my family. So he is not only 8th grade, he also tends, he also looks similar to me. And I really like him because he is very mischievous and I would really love to control him. So we play sports together whenever we get some free time. There is a place in our terrace where we go and keep on playing cricket for instance.

A family member that I spend a lot of time with is my gorgeous mother. The reason why I spend a lot of time with her is because she's an exquisite and mesmerizing person that I admire. We spend a lot of time talking about each other's lives, what our plans for the days are and what we aspire to be in the future. Furthermore, sometimes we cook together and we also go out a lot. However, I do spend time with my father as well, who is also an extremely admirable and sweet person. Furthermore, I go out for shopping with my parents quite often since my brother is not here. We go for family lunches and dinners together, which really helps us bridge the gap between adults and children, the generational gap. It helps us become closer as a family and understand each other's values, traditions and emotions.

I belong to a nuclear family. My family includes my mom, dad and my grandmother. The person I spend a lot of time with is my mom. She is a drawing teacher in primary high school and she loves drawing. As a kid I still remember we used to have so much fun with colors and pencils. She used to give me a picture of flower and I used to color it with different colors and I still have those memories with me. My mother is a extremely talented in cooking and she makes all these beautiful dishes and now she teaches me as well. Cooking is one of her favorite hobbies although she doesn't like to cut onions and other vegetables so usually she asks me for help and while helping her in cooking we spend a lot of time together and it's very much fun. We also go out on beaches, mountains etc. She loves to swim so we go on swimming in pools together and we have lots of fun together. We also talk about different topics and different things which are happening in each other's life. Now that I don't live in my home we don't get to spend a lot of time together but we still talk on call and video calls and I miss her a lot sometimes.

Band 6-7

My family is a very small one. It consists of me, my dad, my mom and my brother. So, a family member that I spend a lot of time with is my brother, obviously. My brother is 10 years younger than me and even though he is 10 years younger, we have such a good rapport. We used to do so many things together. Both of us share the same likings, especially both of us love to watch TV. We used to see a lot of recent web series and we used to go out for evening walk. It usually makes me feel that I have someone to share my day with. After a long day at work, it is my brother whom I go to, to discuss about the day's work. I share my feelings, I share whatever happened at work to my brother. Both of us had an amazing childhood. Right from my childhood, both of us used to be tight. We never leave to any tourist place without each other. We love travelling. Both of us make sure that we travel at least once every 6 months so that we get to experience new cuisine, new lifestyle and culture. One more common thing we both love is food. We try a lot of different cuisines, we try a lot of new restaurants.

Band 6-7

Spending time with my mother will be one of the greatest pleasures that I'll have in my life. She makes me want to aim higher in life, get better in terms of academics, in terms of how I feel, in terms of how I'm supposed to be when I grow up, how I'm supposed to work in a professional environment. My mother teaches me everything during these conversations. My mother always, always likes to pull my leg and have fun, have conversation which ultimately leads to laughter. We laugh so much that we cry our eyes out. That is how close we are and that is how much we enjoy each other's company. We occasionally do play a game of Ludo to engage ourselves during the free time that we have which is very rare because of how focused she is and how driven she is even at this age. She is always focused and always... What the f**k bro, what are you doing? I spend a lot of time with my mother. She is a homemaker, therefore I would always end up spending my free time in her company. She is a very entertaining person. We always enjoy a laugh together and make conversation which ultimately leads to a fight. We always talk to each other and make sure that there is no animosity between us and we always gossip about our relatives and have a good laugh about it. We would occasionally play a game of Ludo to pass our time. She is not very leisure all the time because she is always focused and driven about her language study process. She is aiming to be a professional Japanese translator and therefore I hardly get some time with her but the leftover time that she has is always with me and it is the same for me as well. It is a great pleasure that I get to spend my time with her and I would always love to be next to her forever. Thank you very much.

Band 6-7

Family is a very important part of our lives. Without family, it's impossible to live a life. So today, I would like to talk about my mother. I spend a lot of time with my mother. Whenever I came back from college or school, I share everything with my mother. What happens all over a day and I tell him. I also like to spend time with my mother because my mother always introduces me to something new in my life. Sometimes I learn cooking from my mother because I have so much interest in cooking. And my mother tells me new recipes and sometimes it's my cooking test and I cook some food and that time I also get punished. And I feel very safe whenever I am with my mom. I can share every emotion of my life. Hence, my mother also shares her feelings with me. We both do so much gossip all the day because we are very close to each other. My mother always stands at my back. She always helps me in my work. She always helps me in my studies. Sometimes she is emotional towards me. Whenever I feel low, she always motivates me. She always gives me power to come back. So at the end, I would like to say this is the person in my family member I spend a lot of time with.

Band 6-7

A family member with whom I spend most of my time are my parents, they are the senior citizens actually. And most of the time, whenever we are free or whenever I am at leisure, I don't need to go to work, we cook delicacies, we watch series, we clean the house. The most important thing with them is, whenever I am with them, I get to learn a lot of things from them. They have a different perspective of everything. Even if we are watching series, their feedbacks are entirely different from mine. What they see through their eyes is unique, which I could not even imagine, or I don't have that experience. So I get to learn a lot of things from them, and I love being with them. They are my source of motivation, my pillars of strength, everything. So it's quite fun being with them.
