When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Last year, I went to Gokarna, which is in the southern part of India. It is known for its beach and temple. It's a temple town, basically. I visited there as a solo traveller, as my friends and my family were not able to join me on the trip because of their busy schedule. So, I decided to go out solo. I think after visiting that place, I realized a lot of things. The place was so beautiful. It is untouched with tourism. It is like a hidden beach, if you consider it. After going on the trip to Gokarna, the experience was surreal. I had a lot of memories. I went there doing kayaking in the water, right from eating local food and visiting all the temples. It was one of the best memories I could ever have. Also, on that trip, I met a lot of foreign tourists. I talked with them. We had a lot of good conversations about travelling, trekking, and how India is getting developed. It was a worth it experience. I also suggest many young people that they should also travel solo to such countryside places.

Hello, last year I went to Gujarat with my family. It was a family trip together. The main purpose of our trip was a pilgrimage. In a very small village in Gujarat called Chotila, we have our very big temple called as Chotila. There I felt amazing. The weather was cold and the food was amazing. The people were amazing. I don't want to do this. I want to start again. Hello, my name is Prakruti and I am going to tell you a story about my family. My trip to Gujarat is a very beautiful state in India, mostly populated with a community called as Gujaratis. I went to Gujarat with my family last year. The main purpose of my trip was to visit a religious temple. This temple is situated in a very small village called Chotila. In order to visit the temple, we had to climb 600 steps on a mountain. The feeling when you reach on the top and see Goddess Chamunda was completely amazing. It was marvelous. Apart from the temple, I also visited many other local sightseeing's. I also tried a lot of local food such as Bajrani Rotli and Sev Tomatanu Saag, Kadhi Khichdi etc. I particularly feel that the taste of the water makes the food more delicious. We stayed there in a very small hotel which was located right in front of the temple. The main attraction of the place was the natural beauty. There were many mountains and the climate was amazing. So for conclusion, I would like to conclude that the place is beautiful and I would like to visit again.

Well, there are many occasions when I get chance to visit countryside areas, but here I would like to talk about a specific time when I visited there and I enjoyed a lot. Two weeks ago, I had a holiday from my college, so I had plenty of time, so I decided to visit to my friend's farmhouse. Actually, my friend Aman is living in a countryside area in his farmhouse, so I went there to celebrate his birthday. Although it was my first visit there, I really enjoyed it because he lives in a countryside area that is quite peaceful and a refreshing area. There are a lot of things that were appreciated by me, like greenery and excess of fresh and free vegetables and fruits. So I really enjoyed all these things because as a citizen of our city, we normally don't have such kind of things. We always are surrounded with noise and other kind of distractions, but that area was quite a peaceful area. I went there alone and I went there alone because I just want to spend some quality time with him. The place, and if I talk about the look of place, the place was looking like a heaven. I never seen such kind of place in my entire life. But when I see that place in a reality with my friend, I just go blind for a while because I have no idea. I have no words to express my excitement, express my satisfaction that I got from that area.

Traveling is a beautiful essence of life. As any person would love to travel with his family, I travelled back a year ago to the beautiful city of Puri. It is located in the state of Orissa and part of India. In Puri, I visited the famous temple of Jagannath Puri. It is one of the four dhams. It contains a peaceful and divine motion which satisfies the need and provides the people with the inner peace that they require. Apart from the Jagannath Puri temple, there are beautiful resorts as well where people can come together, have beautiful outings. This is an underrated place. This place is very similar to Goa where people love to come and I would say the same benefits can be provided in Puri as well. The beaches here are very beautiful. A lot of people have started to come here to play water sports. I also played a water sport in which I was kept inside a tyre and I was made to float on the Bay of Bengal. Bay of Bengal is the sea that is associated with Orissa. The food here is very delicious. It is known as prasadam. The prasadam contains bunch of rice, peas presented in the form of dal. It also contains lentils. This together makes it an auspicious food for people like us who follow the tradition. I would love to come back here to the beautiful city of Puri in Orissa and I hope it would become more popular.

I've been to this very beautiful countryside in Ireland, a place named Donegal. It's a very small town and they have beautiful castles and it's surrounded with greenery. I would say it's almost like three hours away from Belfast, which is one of the biggest cities in Ireland. And I went there twice. I went there in November last year and in August this year. I went to just enjoy my time, have a little vacation and I really enjoyed being in the countryside surrounded with greenery and lots and lots of beautiful landscapes, very ecstatic and eccentric landscape in the whole Ireland. And I wonder why most of these artists would go to Ireland to paint. I could see the resemblance in the paintings and the scenery very clearly. I went there to meet my friend who lives there in Donegal town. I was staying with him at his house and I was also working in his farms, surrounded with lots of horses because he's a horse breeder. So it was really beautiful and rejuvenating for me to be surrounded with a lot of greenery, surrounded with nature, a lot of fresh air, plenty of fresh air comparatively to Delhi. I really felt at peace. I felt that this is where I belong because I have always been craving for a beautiful countryside because I've always lived in a city and it's a good getaway for me to travel that far and to experience all those things that we have never experienced.

There have been a lot of times that I have been to countryside, but I have never really been to a farmhouse. So there was this one time when I visited a farmhouse. It was during my 10th standard summer holidays. So it was located on the outskirts of the country. So basically it was in a small village where we went. It was a very beautiful place. It was located in such an area that there was greenery all around it. And why I went there was because it was my relative's birthday. And we were, since we are very close friends, we went there to celebrate the birthday and spend a good weekend there. So all the friends and family gathered during that time and it was a great experience. We went on Saturday and came back on Monday morning so that everyone can get back to their work. So as soon as we reached there, first we went to the pool and all of the cousins and friends, we went to take a nice shower in the pool. And after that, we went and had snacks. By the time we had snacks, our parents were discussing and talking about the future. And since they were talking and towards the end, all of us sat down together and by night we had a bonfire night, which was great. All of us sat and, you know, listened to music, we sang a lot of songs with our family. It was a really nice time. It was like a quality family and friends bonding time, which gave me insights into how good it was.

A countryside that I visited recently was a colony park. I went there for picnic with friends and relatives and I visited there during the winter season around the month of December. The park was a very beautiful place, it had a big pond at the center. Also saw some local farmers farming alongside the park, they were mainly farming for sunflowers and rice. Also in the pond there were group of people who were fishing and there were many kinds of fishes that were swimming inside the pond. The pond also had a facility for boating which can be utilized by buying a ticket and getting on it and pedaling it. The place is very beautiful and the natural scenery around the park is very romantic. I would certainly like to visit again in the place. With my friends there was also a field for playing football, a football ground where I think we can go for playing matches along with the local kids that were practicing there. It is very ideal place for picnic in a big group, ideally those who come from office it is very reachable by road from Kolkata city by Kallani Expressway and people living in Kolkata can visit this place and go back to home in the same day without any hassle.
