When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One day, I went to my village. It is a really backward village and it has no proper communication system or transportation system. So, I chose to ride a bicycle to go somewhere. I was riding the bicycle when I slightly turned my head upward and saw this pink sky in front of me. As the sun was setting, the rays were emitting from the sun looked amazing. I was astonished by the spectacle I was facing right now. It was indescribable. I wanted to take a picture of it. So, I halted and took out phone from my pocket and clicked a beautiful picture. I saved the picture of Mother Nature and made it as a screensaver of my phone and also my laptop. Everyone who sees the picture try to ask who took it and how can they get the picture. I usually explain that it is one of my picture. I took it from my mobile. That is the beautiful sky I ever seen. The sky was so glittery and sparkling.

I vividly remember a moment from my childhood, where I along with my cousins decided to go on trekking on a nearby hill. So after facing several hard pathways, when we reached at the top, it was nearly sunset time and I exactly remember the scene. So when I looked up at the sky, I saw that the orange hue mixed with bluish tone and with the nightish black. So it was kind of three colors that I was seeing in front of me with moon shining upon them. So it was really a good imagery that I have in my mind. The sky at the moment was still and I still remember that we took photo with my cousins and through the experience, I have to come to realize that we get several moments in our life that are really precious to us, but we realize its importance after the event that has been gone. So when I was in that moment, I never thought about it much, but when I see after so many days, I reflect upon it, I feel like that was one of the best days of my life. That imagery also inspires me that I need to go on more adventures and see the earth in its most beautiful and transparent way. We need to give our time to enjoy the world that we are really missing by being engaged.

I recently went to Tiger's Point which is located in Lonavala, Maharashtra, India. It's on the Western Ghats of India which is on a substantial height so offers a panoramic view of the sunset. I went there with my friends on a weekend since we all had a long work week so we decided to go on a short road trip to Lonavala. It's fairly close to where we stay like a three hour ride, around a three hour ride. When we got there, our entire view was clouds and a glimmer of sunlight shining through those clouds. It was so serene, so peaceful. It felt like the refresh that we needed to get out from the hectic work week that we had. The ride leading up to the Tiger's Point was also very enjoyable. The whole ride there was fresh cool wind that was blowing in through the windows and the sunset was absolutely stunning. The whole sky turned a golden yellowish hue and as the time passed, as the sun, as the night fell, the sky turned this amazing pink hue-ish colour.

A month ago, on a fine Sunday evening, we decided to visit the nearby Murubilangad beach, which is the Asia's first driving beach. And we started from our home at 5 p.m. and reached there by around 6.30. The sun had already began to set when we reached, and the entire sky was painted in orange and yellow, and the reflections of the sky were seen in the waves or in the sea. It was indeed a visual treat, the birds that were flying back to their nests had their shadows imprinted on an orange background. The picturesque view still lasts in my mind, and we captured a number of photographs with the sky as the background. It left a lasting impression on me that I began painting in the digital app. I used the sky as a reference and merged it with the fundus image, which is used in ophthalmology to create a digital art named Retinal Horizons, wherein there is a merge of both the ophthalmology fundus picture, as well as the nature's view and how vibrant it is, the way we perceive it. And I am very humbled to say that the image has been accepted for publication in the special edition Art in Ophthalmology in the famous Ophthalmology Journal, and I feel really humbled and blessed saying that.

One beautiful sky I really enjoyed seeing was during a weekend trip to a hill station last year. It was around sunset and I had gone for a walk just to relax and take in a bit of a fresh air. As I reached a quiet viewpoint, a sky suddenly turned into a stunning display of colours. The sun was slowly setting behind the hills and the sky was painted with shades of various different colours like orange, pink and purple. It looked almost like a painting. The clouds were scattered and glowing. There was a soft breeze that made the whole experience even more calming. The sky reminded me how simple things in nature can be so powerful and moving. It was one of those moments where I felt really connected to the world around me. And what it made really memorable was how peaceful everything felt. There was no noise, just the sound of nature and I stood there for quite a while just soaking it all in. I even took a few pictures but honestly they didn't do justice to the real beauty of that moment.

It was 2019 and the comet was passing around, closing the earth. So me and my friend Akshay decided to watch this. We were living in Pune which is highly populated city and highly polluted city as well. So we thought it wouldn't be possible for us to see that comet in Pune. So we decided to move to Kolhapur which is comparatively clean city where sky could be clear. So we went there. We stayed at his home and one night that night we went to park. He had borrowed a telescope from his friend. Then we tried to observe the comet. The sky was beautiful. We could see almost each and every star. The climate was fresh. After watching the comet we stayed there on the ground. We were having fun. We were singing Bollywood songs loudly as there was no one on the ground and we stayed up till early morning.

I particularly remember an evening sky that I saw during one of the evening walks that I shared with my friend. It was during my graduation and we were walking from my university to a nearby dhaba, which is kind of a hotel. So we were walking and it was around the sunset and all of a sudden we... ... ... ... I occasionally recall this particular memory of an evening walk I shared with my friends. And the whole memory is etched as if a movie playing out in my mind. And I remember it was at the end of one of our semester exams. And we were all done with exams and we thought we'll have a tea somewhere outside. So we were all walking towards the tea shop when suddenly someone pointed at the sky and commented on its beauty. That's when everyone also took notice of how beautiful the evening sky was. It was around the time of sunset. So the sky had a delicate hue of blue with light golden streaks painted across it. It was as if the thin golden strands were embroidered across the sky with artistic perfection. And the sky was so breathtaking that we stopped for a moment and we all together enjoyed the view for some time before continuing our walk. Even after continuing the walk, we still looked up at the sky from time to time and commented on the changing of colors. How the golden streaks started reddening and how deep the red was and how the sun was slowly diminishing from our view. So that particular view of sky is always in my mind. And we enjoyed the evening tea under that golden huge sky at that evening.

I would like to share a wonderful experience that I had the year back. I'm going to talk about a beautiful view of the sky that I got to see recently in my village. The name of that hill station is Valarangunnu. It's a small hill station in my village. The event happened when I went on a bike trekking with my friends in my village on to this hilly splendor. We went on an adventurous trekking on bike to get this marvelous view. The sky in this hill station is crystal clear with a cloudy blanket around the hill. The incident occurred on a surprise when we suddenly planned to make this adventure happen. I went with my cousins and some of my village friends. The beauty of this sky is that most of the sky is blue with tiny fragments of clouds Talking about Valarangunnu, it is a forest preserved land. The inhabitants in that hill station are mostly of tribal people who are very cooperative and shower us with love whenever we visit that place. They offer tea and other special snacks for us to have. The other speciality of the sky is that during sunset, it is full of greenery.

One of the most beautiful skies I have ever seen was in Mumbai at Marinder during a summer evening. I went there with one of my best friends to relax after a busy week. It was around sunset and we were sitting on the pyramid looking out at the Arabian sea. As the sun started to go down, the sky changed into amazing colors. They were shades of orange, pink, and purple, and they reflected on the water. It looked like a beautiful painting. The tall buildings on one side and the wide sea on the other made the view even more special. Every few minutes, the sky looked different. As the sun disappeared, the clouds turned golden, and later we saw a few stars in the sky. It was peaceful and quiet, and I felt really calm and happy.

Since childhood the favorite thing that I enjoy the most is watching sunsets and the most beautiful sky according to me is when either the Sun is setting or Sun is rising. So just recently on 15th May which is my birthday I was sitting on the terrace alone watching the sky change its colors and turn into something so beautiful and magical. It felt like a painting.
