  • Humboldt State University, a public university in Arcata, California, is a 23-institute California State University member. Founded in 1913, the main campus spreads over 144 acres and has many satellite campuses and other academic buildings. The three academic colleges, namely the College of Natural Resources and Sciences, College of Professional Studies, and College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, offer 48 undergraduate, 12 postgraduate, 73 minors, 51 majors, and 14 credential degrees.
