Academic Background


  • Depending on the Board you studied under, an overall average of 60% to 65% or higher on the 12th Standard
  • Students with a valid UK HND or Indian Diploma may be eligible for advanced entry into some undergraduate degree programmes



Postgraduate Entrance Criteria


  • For admittance into a pertinent postgraduate programme, you must have a 3-year degree with a cumulative average of 60% (or a CGPA of 6.0/10) from a recognised Indian university
  • For admittance into a pertinent postgraduate programme, you must have an overall average of 4- or 5-Year degrees (B.E., BTECH, B. PHARM, B. ARCH, etc.) at 55% (or CGPA of 5.8/10) from a recognised Indian university
  • From one of the following Indian universities: the University of Mumbai, University of Delhi, University of Pune, Jadavpur University, or University of Calcutta, with a minimum of 50% (or a CGPA of 5.5/10)

Undergraduate Programmes


International applicants may use either the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) portal or the university's portal to submit their applications. You can apply straight online through the university site if you are just applying to USW and not any other UK universities.
