University College London is a public research institute in London, United Kingdom. With an enrollment of 42,000 students from over 150 countries and the University also has a faculty of 13,000 members. Prospective students can choose from 400 undergraduate and numerous postgraduate research and teacher training programs taught by 11 faculties (Laws, Life Sciences, Arts & Humanities etc.).
There are course-specific requirements like GRE scores, GMAT scores, IELTS/TOEFL scores and more. A candidate's GPA will also need to meet university's standards to get admission.
The undergraduate tuition fee is GBP 9,250 for UK students. Students can apply for financial aid like bursaries, scholarships, grants and loans like Maintenance loans and grants, William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, Postgraduate Master's Loan etc.
There are 26 residence halls (catered and self-catered accommodation) for undergraduates and postgraduates; singles, doubles, studios, flats etc., are available. Langton Close, New Hall, Garden Halls and Prankerd House are some residences. Over 300 student societies provide a chance to participate in cultural, artistic, sports, religious, academic and other activities.
According to placement records, UCL postgraduate students earn a median salary of GBP 30,000, and research students earn GBP 39,000.
