The Two BEng Programs Indian Students Target Most

Computer Science (Software Engineering) BEng (Hons)

Built for students who want a career in software development, this course combines computer science fundamentals with a deep specialization in software engineering methodology.

What you study:

  • Year 1: Software engineering principles, discrete mathematics, data structures and algorithms, and a team-based software project.
  • Year 2: Real-world software development for companies, advanced algorithms, and elective modules in AI, robotics, and cybersecurity.
  • Year 3: Individual research project plus optional modules allowing specialization in AI, machine learning, distributed systems, or cybersecurity.

The course has a strong focus on professional skills: communication, critical thinking, and real-world impact analysis. A fourth-year MEng route exists for students who choose the integrated master's path.

Annual tuition (international): Approximately GBP 29,110/year (approximately Rs. 37.55 lakh/year).

Computer Systems Engineering BEng (Hons)
