Coventry University welcomes applications from Indian students who can demonstrate the right academic background and potential. Here are the foundational requirements you’ll need to meet.
Academic Eligibility
For entry into most programs, Coventry University recognizes qualifications from major Indian education boards, including CBSE, ISC, and various state boards. Your application will be assessed based on your specific qualifications and the course you are applying for.
English Language Proficiency
You must demonstrate proficiency in English. This can be done through standardized tests or, in some cases, a waiver based on your previous education.
- IELTS Academic: Typically requires an overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 for undergraduate courses, and 6.5 overall with no band less than 5.5 for postgraduate courses.
- TOEFL iBT: Equivalent scores are accepted.
- PTE Academic: Equivalent scores are accepted.
- English Waiver: Coventry University may waive the English language test requirement if you have scored 70% or above in English in your Standard XII from CBSE/ISC boards. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Financial Proof
As part of your UK student visa application, you must show that you have sufficient funds to cover your tuition fees and living expenses. This is a critical step after you receive your offer letter.
