The University of Prince Edward Island is a government institution established in 1969 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The 134 acres of campus have modern marvels like the Main Building, Dalton Hall, War Memorial Hall, Central Utility Building, Duffy Science Center, Chi-Wan Young Sports Center, CARI Complex (swimming pools, running tracks, and hockey rinks), UPEI Health and Wellness Center, Robertson Library, and many more.
The university has seven faculties: Faculty of Arts; Faculty of Business; Faculty of Education; Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering; Faculty of Nursing; Faculty of Science;Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; and; School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences.
With more than 5000 enrollments (65% acceptance rate), the University of Prince Edward Island offers postgraduate and undergraduate courses in Education, Arts, Engineering, Biology, Socialism, Chemistry, Psychology, Computational Science, etc.
The university provides on-campus (Bernardine Hall, Blanchard Hall, Bill, and Denise Andrew Hall) and off-campus accommodation services. Students can stay in single, double, and triple suite options with five-day and seven-day meal plans at 5,000 CAD- 6,000 CAD, residential services like laundry, kitchenette, TV lounge, free parking, internet access, and 24-hour security. Undergraduate and graduate courses' average tuition fee is 4,100 CAD and 11,100 CAD, respectively. The university provides financial aid to students ranging from 1,000 CAD to 3,000 CAD based on merit under programs like Alan Moore Memorial Scholarship, Halifax Kennel Club Award, Scotiabank Scholarship Series, etc.
