Top 10 Global Internships with Deadlines Before July 31, 2026: Apply Now

Most Indian students assume the internship season is behind them by June. It is not. International development organizations, investment banks, UN agencies, and government research programs run on entirely different cycles, and several have deadlines between now and July 31.

Here are 10 internships open right now or opening before July ends.

1. World Bank Group / ICSID: International Investment Law

Deadline: June 30, 2026 | Unpaid | Washington, D.C.

ICSID is the world's leading investor-state arbitration institution under the World Bank Group. Interns work directly inside case management teams on live international investment disputes.

  • Drafting legal research papers, assisting with arbitration hearings, and conducting institutional research under ICSID counsel.
  • Unpaid, candidates must receive academic credit or a university stipend from their institution.
  • Duration: Minimum 12 weeks. Full-time or part-time.
  • Requires F1/G4 visa or US citizen/Green Card status. Only Indian students already enrolled at US institutions may apply.
  • Must be enrolled in an LLM, PhD, or Rising 3L program. Strong interest in international investment law. English fluency required; French or Spanish preferred.

2. IOM (UN Migration Agency): Migration Policy and Research

Deadline: Approximately July 5, 2026 | USD 1,000–1,300/month (Rs. 95,160–1,23,708/month) | Pretoria, South Africa

The IOM places interns in migration policy, humanitarian response, data, communications, and project management. Indian nationals are eligible.

  • Enrolled in a master's or PhD program or graduated within the last year.
  • Background in social sciences, international relations, law, or public policy.

3. Human Rights Watch: International Justice Program

Deadline: Approximately July 9, 2026 | USD 2,800–3,400/month (Rs. 2,66,448–3,23,544) | New York and Brussels

HRW places graduate students in research, advocacy, communications, and legal documentation. This is one of the most prestigious human rights internships available to international students.

  • Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program in law, human rights, political science, journalism, or international relations.
  • Strong writing and research skills are essential. Indian students eligible.

4. Taiwan NSTC: International Science and Technology Internship

Deadline: July 15, 2026 | TWD 800–1,000/day stipend + travel + accommodation | Taiwan

Taiwan's National Science and Technology Council places students in national research laboratories across semiconductor, materials science, AI, biomedical, and environmental science fields. India is an eligible country, but Indian applicants consistently undersubscribe the program.

  • Duration: 28 to 90 days (approximately 1 to 3 months). Start dates are flexible based on lab availability.
  • Daily stipend of TWD 1,000 per working day. At approximately 22 working days per month, that is TWD 17,600 to TWD 22,000/month (approximately Rs. 50,160 to Rs. 62,700/month). Travel and accommodation are provided separately on top of this amount.
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate, master's, or PhD students in STEM.
  • Indian nationals explicitly eligible.

5. Goldman Sachs: Summer Analyst, Australia

Goldman Sachs Australia's Summer Analyst program runs from December 2026 to February 2027, which is why applications open in July. Roles across global markets, investment banking, asset management, and operations.

Amazon opens its Summer 2027 SWE internship portal in late July, and it uses rolling shortlisting. The sooner you apply, the better your chances. Amazon confirmed 11,000 SWE interns for Summer 2026. The intern-to-full-time conversion rate hit 63.1% in 2025-26.

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in CS or a related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028.

Three Things You Need Ready Before the Deadline
