For current students

The Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship covers a fee remission of up to AUD 10,000. Students who have one or more years to complete will get the maximum value, whereas those who have less than a year left will get a remission based on the number of subject points to complete.

For commencing students

You will receive either of the following –

  • 50% fee remission for the three-year duration of the undergraduate degree
  • Fully-funded scholarship or 100% fee remission for the three-year period of the undergraduate degree
  • AUD 10,000 tuition fee remission pertaining to the first year of an undergraduate degree

Eligibility requirements for Indian students

  • Final year score of 95% to 96% / Achieve a score of 40 or 41 in International Baccalaureate / Achieve 3A and a numerical score of 90% to 93% in GCE A Levels – Eligible for one-time AUD 10,000 payment scholarship
  • Final year score of 96% to 98% / Achieve a score of 42 or 43 in International Baccalaureate / Achieve 3A and a numerical score of 94% to 95% in GCE A Levels – Eligible for one-time AUD 20,000 payment scholarship
  • Final year score of 98% to 99% / Achieve a score of 44 in International Baccalaureate / Achieve 3A and a numerical score of 96% to 97% in GCE A-Levels – 50% fee offset as scholarship, valid for the course duration
  • Final year score of 99% and above / Achieve a score of 45 in International Baccalaureate / Achieve 3A and a numerical score of 98% or above in GCE A-Levels – Full fee offset (100%) as scholarship, valid for the course duration

Melbourne Graduate Scholarship (Education) – International Students

About

The Melbourne Graduate Scholarship (Education) – International Students is available to deserving international students undertaking the Master of Teaching.

How to apply?

No separate application is needed. If you are selected for admission, you are eligible to be considered for the scholarship.

The candidates eligible for receiving the scholarship are chosen based on their merit and past performance.

Value of the scholarship

The scholarship offers a stipend of 25% fee remission for up to 2 years of your higher education (Master’s) study.

  • You must be a citizen of India.
  • You are not receiving any other tuition fee remission or sponsorship in any other form, which along with Melbourne Graduate Scholarship (Education) – International Students, exceeds the full tuition fee value (100%).
  • You are commencing postgraduate study as an international student at the University of Melbourne for the first time in 2023.
  • You have not received any other scholarship sponsored by the Australian Government in the last two years.
  • You are eligible to enrol to study at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education and enrol as a full-time student pertaining to the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood, Primary, Early Childhood and Primary, or Secondary).

Bachelor of Arts International Scholarship

About

The Bachelor of Arts International Scholarship is offered to deserving international candidates looking to pursue a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne. It is only offered to approximately 23 candidates who have a proven record of excellent academic performance.

Applicants admitted to the University of Melbourne are automatically eligible for this scholarship.

  • The candidate must have applied for and should meet the entry requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Arts.
  • It is only available for new applicants, and current research graduates are not eligible for remittance.
