In the following year, I also did a project on brightness control with hand gestures which focused on how a system could recognize, detect, and interpret hand gestures. The brightness of the screen increased in accordance with the distance between the two fingers as the distance between them increased. At the same time, I’ve worked on another project which is used for Detecting and counting faces using python- OpenCV and NumPy. It is a novel and quick method for estimating the number of people in crowded surveillance scenes and is resistant to changes in background and illumination and can count people in real-time. All these projects significantly improved my understanding of the conceptual knowledge I gained through my textbooks. Furthermore, I also learned the control of haptic robot arms using Arduino, two days workshop and have two research paper publications of the projects I'm engaged in. In simple words, the ample amount of potential in computers to make our lives easy and exciting pushes me to dive deeper and explore advanced concepts of Computer Science. A sixth-grade me explaining all the motherboard components was a beautiful surprise to the faculty and guests who visited the science fair. I was encouraged to allow wings to spread and explore new dimensions. The application named "Crocodile Chemistry," a virtual simulated lab where we can perform reactions without using the actual equipment, made me think of computers beyond games. I understood how one could create a multitude of applications to ease our lives. Soon I became popular in school for winning quizzes. My journey in school was not confined to academics. I served as the captain of the school, which gave me early lessons in leadership and collaborative teamwork. The subjects that involved critical and logical thinking always interested me, and my long exposure to solving puzzling problems polished my aptitude. My natural course was enrolling in Computer Engineering at ---'s University. My interest was sparked by the fact that every significant life choice I made involved some kind of technological exploration. My lecturer, Mr --- sir, has been a great motivation for me to continue my education and acquire a master's degree in a field that I am passionate about. I decided to get my master's degree in data science because of the information he shared with me and the help he provided me with on my capstone data science project about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I chalked out an entire plan to learn the nitty-gritty of Data Science and ex- plore the field in-depth. As I delved deeper, my motivation to pursue a Master's degree strength- ened. Thus, I decided to study for a Master's in Data Science at Essex University. Since childhood, I have been a devoted student of mathematics because of its role in shaping my an- alytical and logical thinking. My relentless pursuit of academic success has earned me a stellar record of achievement in the classroom. I graduated from high school with an overall grade point of 86.3% and an ongoing interest in Science. I put my energy into strengthening the foundation that my intermediate courses provided. I received an 88.80 per cent in my senior year of high school and decided to focus on improving my computing abilities. I decided to earn a degree in engineering with a focus on computing. I learned the basics of several advanced subjects, including Algorithms and Data Structures, Programming Languages, and Databases. The fact that I could perform my favourite program's capstone project and many other projects re- lated to data science during my undergraduate years was a huge plus that allowed me to learn a great deal about the field. My thesis, "Deep Learning Approach for the Prediction of Cardiac Arrest using Sleep Apnea," was presented at the 1st International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics at the G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology in Nagpur, India, and published in the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. In addition, our research was chosen for the state-level program hosted by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technolo- gy, providing me with yet another excellent chance to go more deeply into the topics and acquire a solid foundation of knowledge. During my time at school, I also participated in various extracurric- ular opportunities. During a social awareness field trip, my group and I had the chance to clean up our immediate area and educate our neighbours on the need to care for their community's health. During my senior year, I also served as vice president of the social club we called "Spandana," where I organised a blood donation camp that brought recognition and prosperity to our department. I've experienced several low points throughout the years, mostly because I formerly had a great deal of enthusiasm to learn and participate in numerous activities but was unable to do it in a reasonable amount of time. During college, my internship with iQuest as a full-stack web application developer introduced me to a new experience which transformed my career. I created a thoroughly operating standard News- Grid website from the ground up. I utilised MySQL and PHP for the backend and expanded my the- oretical knowledge of both technologies. As for the front end, I used HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Javascript to create a dynamic and user-experience-focused final product. After graduating with an excellent score, I landed a job at Capgemini as an Analyst with my skills. The organisation reward- ed me with responsibility, and I embarked on my adventure in the field of Master Data Manage- ment. I have been reading extensively on software such as Informatica MDM and Stibo to broaden my skill set. I went the extra mile to study the topics in-depth and undertook a Data Science course by IBM to further my reach. My professional journey has aided me in shaping my technical side of the mind, which I intend to use for future endeavours. A master's degree program should help close the management and climate change mitigation skills gap between developing and developed worlds. The master's program can potentially enhance peo- ple's living conditions and quality of life significantly. I will be equipped with skills centred on solving real-world problems. The UK has a strong tradition of education and research in data sci- ence. The country is home to many top universities that offer high-quality data science programs. The UK has a thriving data science community, with many conferences, meetups, and other events that provide opportunities to learn and network with other data scientists. The UK is home to many innovative companies and organisations at the forefront of data science and big data analytics. Studying in the UK can give students access to internships, job opportunities, and real-world experi- ence in these fields.
