The RCA exempts applicants with a 2:1 or above from a university in a majority English-speaking nation within the last five years. Goldsmiths has a progression agreement for graduates of the Indian School of Design and Innovation (Goldsmiths).
These pages say they accept international qualifications but publish no single conversion for Indian degrees. Ask each university for a written equivalence before you pay for English tests or visas.

UK Student Visa Costs, Funds and the Graduate Route After a Design Master’s
You need a Student visa for a London design master's. The British Council lists the application fee as £558 (Rs.70,330) and the Immigration Health Surcharge as £776 per year (Rs.97,807). You can apply up to six months before your course starts.
You must also show enough money for your first-year course fees (up to nine months) plus living costs. GOV.UK currently lists £1,529 a month for London, up to nine months (£13,761, or Rs.17,34,436).
For applications made on or after 30 November 2026, the Home Office's Statement of Changes HC 584 raises this to £1,570 a month in London, a £14,130 maximum (Rs.17,80,945). A September 2027 applicant will apply after that date, so plan for £14,130 plus the unpaid balance of first-year fees.
After your degree, the Graduate Route lets you stay to work or look for work. For bachelor's and master's graduates who apply on or after 1 January 2027, it drops from two years to 18 months. You must apply from inside the UK while holding a valid Student visa.

UAL's course page lists the UAL International Postgraduate £10,000 Scholarships (Rs.12,60,400) among its funding options, and the RCA lists its own tuition discounts on its program pages. Check each scholarship's eligibility and deadline, because they differ by course. Against UAL's £22,620 annual fee, £10,000 covers only part of the cost, so the idea of studying a masters in design in London for free is unrealistic for most applicants.
