Dear Riya, I was amused when I heard that you are planning for a solo trip this time. I can assure you that it would be a mesmerizing experience of your life. You would definitely love this trip as there will be no one around you to provide you guidelines and plan for you. You will be able to take your own decisions and explore the places freely. Additionally, it will provide you ample time for yourself. Furthermore, travelling alone will benefit you in numerous ways like you will learn about managing things properly, budgeting, time management, public skills. Not only this, you would also get a chance to meet with the new persons from various fields, and can get familiar with the latest trends and technologies emerging in the society. However, it is very necessary to take precautions beforehand for a safe and secure trip. I would suggest you to be focused throughtout the vacation like taking care of your phone and wallet while travelling or exploring. Also, it would be great if you try to avoid deserted places specially during nights as it might get dangerous. With safety measures and little care you would have an amazing experience. Wishing you the best for your first solo trip and will catch up once you come back to share all the lovely memories. Yours sincerely, Akshita Sharma

Dear John, Hope you are doing well. I came to know that you are planning a solo trip to Manali and looking for some advice. I have been to Manali couple of times and have done few solo trips myself, though not to Manali. I can help you with few pointers. Firstly, solo trips are worth the effort as it can be at your own pace. Having people or family around puts us under a undue pressure of accomodating everyone. While travelling alone you can take your own time while sightseeing and adjust your schedule accordingly whithout upsetting the whole time-table. Manali is a large place to cover, so travel light as it would help you in moving in and out of hotels. Try to stay near to attractions which you would like to cover the next day. Though it can be fun to travel alone, it can make us carefree and thus, careless. Take care of your belongings, as Manali is notorious for its thiefs. Also, if you feel you have to decide between doing something if it's risky, the answer to that question will always be not to go ahead. Apart from that, it is quite an experience and you would love the atmosphere and hospitality of Manali. Do checckout their wool market as you can get great deals, this being the season end. Take care and do let me know if you need any more details. enjot and krrp safe. Yours Sincerely, Vibhor Pachnanda

Dear Divya, It's greate to hear you're considering solo trip. I think you would absolutely love it. You have been talking about wanting more independene and a chance to really discover yourself, and a solo trip is the perfect way to do that. Travelling alone can provide freedom and self-discovery. One of the biggest advantages is the complete freedom to do whatever you want, whenever you want. No need to compromise on your itinerary or pace. You can spend as much time as you like at that amazzing museum, hop on a spontaneous detour to that cute littele cafe you saw on the way. It's your adventure, your rules. this can really boost your confidenece and problem-solving skills, as you will be rely on your own judgment and resourcefullness. You will learn to nvigate new situations and become more comfortable with your own company. Of course, saftey is paramount when travelling alone. Before you go, make sure to share your itinerary with someone you trust, including flight details, accommodation information, and general outline of your plans. Keep them updated on your progress. Reaserch your destination thorougly, paying attention to the areas that might be considered less safe, and avoid those. When you're out and about, be aware of your surroundings and try to not to look too much like a tourist. Keep your valueable secure and consider carrying a personal safety alaram. Download offline maps and translation apps, and always let someone know where your are going and when you expect to be back. I'm excited for you and the adventures you will have. Dear Sunny, Hope you are doing well! I received your letter and was elated to know that you are planning a solo trip for the first time. I know how much you love travelling and this will be your 70th trip, I guess in past 5 years. I would love to share my experience from my solo trip. For me, solo trips are meant to be for clearing my mind from all the problems. I am sure that you would enjoy this trip as the trip will enhance your self-confidence. One of the biggest advantage is that you will be able to do all the things that you like, without even worrying about others likes and dislikes. There is one very important factor that you need focus on, safety. For example, if you need to use toilet and it is not possible for you to carry the bag inside then it would be difficult to leave the bag unattented. However, you can keep it in the cloak room. so, please stay alert, in these type of situations. Hope you enjoy your trip, have a safe and happy journey. Best Wishes, Shikha
