The answer depends on your goal. The UK offers 1-year MA programs, direct proximity to the world's largest VFX cluster in London, and strong short-term career access. Canada offers lower fees, stronger PR pathways post-graduation, and well-regarded production-focused colleges (Sheridan, VFS).

What happens if my UK animation application is rejected?
Request written portfolio feedback from the admissions office (most universities respond within 4–6 weeks). If Round 2 or Round 3 is still open at your target institute, reapply only after making 2–3 new portfolio pieces using the feedback. A rejection at one institute in one cycle does not affect eligibility for the following year. Indian students who reapply with a genuinely strengthened portfolio have a strong acceptance rate at Hertfordshire and AUB.
