Sheffield Hallam University: Normally an honors degree or recognized equivalent. IELTS 6.0 overall with no skill below 5.5 (or 6.5 with 6.0 in each skill for the work placement route). Ranked in the world's top 100 for Hospitality and Leisure Management, QS World University Rankings 2026.

University of Hertfordshire: 2:2 honors degree in any subject or a recognized equivalent professional qualification. IELTS 6.5 overall, with no band below 5.5.

Coventry University London: 2:2 honors degree in hospitality, tourism, or business. IELTS 6.5 overall, with no component below 5.5.

University of Greenwich: 2:2 honors degree; applicants without a degree but with relevant professional experience are also considered.

Anglia Ruskin University (ARU London): Standard postgraduate entry criteria apply; check the specific course page for the current English language threshold, as ARU London's course-specific entry page was not showing full detail at the time of this update.

Northumbria University: 2:2 honors degree in any subject or substantial business experience in lieu of a degree. IELTS: 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

York St John University: Standard bachelor's degree; relevant professional experience can substitute through the university's Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning route. IELTS 6.0 overall with no skill below 5.5.

University of Chester: 2:2 honors degree or equivalent; work experience considered on a case-by-case basis for non-standard applicants. IELTS 6.5 overall with no less than 5.5 in each band, per the university's standard postgraduate benchmark.

Leeds Beckett University: Second-class honors degree or equivalent professional experience, particularly relevant if you've worked in hospitality or events without a directly matching degree. IELTS 6.0 overall with no skill below 5.5. Recognized as a top-100 global institution for hospitality and leisure management in the QS World University Rankings 2026, for the sixth consecutive year.

Middlesex University: Standard undergraduate degree required; no specific hospitality background needed. IELTS 6.0 overall, with at least 6.0 in Reading and Writing, and 5.5 in Listening and Speaking.

Counselor insight: Don't default to the university with the lowest fee. Hertfordshire and Coventry, London, both offer placement or advanced-project extensions, which matter more for your Graduate Route job search than saving a few lakh on tuition.

Four of the ten universities above (Coventry London, Greenwich, ARU London, and Middlesex, which sits in North London) are London-based, so budget toward the higher end of the living cost range for those options.
