When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Yesterday, my teacher taught about John Milton, in which he taught about Paradise Lost, an epic which was written by John Milton, a famous English literature writer. My teacher told that in this book, the writer John Milton expresses his point of view on the basis of biblical stories. He said that the work is remembered as it's …

So, I just remembered that like when I was in 8th grade, I took a class on speaking because we used to have assessment for speaking and listening. We used to prepare a lot, we learned how to speak, how to listen to the audio and how to respond, like how to answer the listening stuff, so it's something really long time back I have experienced, I literally loved it and my teacher was someone who motivated me to do things because I really made a lot of mistakes and I think I still do and I think I would love to learn a lot the same thing because this is something which is, you know, which improves your personality, your way of speaking, your confidence, it just enhances a lot of capability which is there inside you and I'm so glad that I took that class that day because it taught me that no matter how you speak, you should have confidence to present what is there in your mind and you should be aware like what the person is trying to say, you have to be focused, you know, what is important and how you're gonna respond to the other person at the same time, it was such a wonderful class and I will never forget it, I really miss it and I really want to work on it.

The English class lesson that I enjoyed the most was four years ago. I was in 6th grade that time. The teacher, her name was Nafisa ma'am. She did not made us go through a chapter that day. Rather, she told us a story related to the chapter which happened in her own life. She told us about a bird nest that was above her kitchen roof where the eggs were hidden so that no big bird can come and eat the egg. But I don't remember enough but I still remember how much I enjoyed it. It was in Aligarh, my school, Delhi Public School and I wish I could have a much better class than that because you know what, it's just nostalgia hitting.

This was one of my best English class ever. There is a book called Merchant of Venice where my English teacher is explaining the story of the love story of the kingdom in an English kingdom. That was a very beautiful love story. Throughout my English class, I used to enjoy so much where we can use better words. That was my best answer. She used to always say to me that I will whack you up in that. We couldn't understand what is whack you up meaning. So that was a best class. She explains everything where all my friends are laughing. There is one scenario called everyone gets pissed in the book. So everyone is thrilled for that class. Everyone is waiting what was the climax. Some of them went to the home and read their books. But we are eagerly waiting because our English teacher is explaining very fluently and very clearly. It feels like while we are watching the original story, we are waiting for the suspense because we love suspense.

There are many English classes which I had in my day to day life but today I would like to talk about one moment when I really enjoyed a English class, it was around 2 years ago when I was in class 9th and 10th there was a really important chapter in our English literature known as a Merchant of Navy which was a really great story and I really enjoyed it a lot but as it was a really long story and we had to study it for almost 2 years it was really boring for us so when one day our teacher was teaching us and we had learned this story from a very long time it was getting really bored for us so our teacher decided to do something interesting to make us understand this story so on the other day the teacher called many students from the class and assigned everyone different roles from the story such as one person was given the role of the Merchant of Navy and another person was given the role of the Merchant of Basseno a really great person from the story then when the class started the teacher decided the teacher asked all the students to perform as the story in the book after the class ended it was a really fun way for us to teach and we remember the story really well in a really interesting way and even the little topics of the story was memorized by us when our exam finally came and we wrote about the story we scored a really good marks in our exam and our teacher was also really proud of us as we have fully understand the story

Two years ago when I was in 10th standard, I had a play in my English test book. It was Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare. I loved the classes when the Merchant of Venice was taught because I found it interesting. Moreover, it was fascinating, a lot of drama, thriller, the genres which I love. My teacher was my principal ma'am who taught us English. She made the Merchant of Venice interesting by setting up a play. I played Shylock in Act 3, Scene 1. The play is based on Old English and various types of social issues during Elizabethton era. I loved the play because my ma'am made it interesting. I loved how each and every character was distinct from others and every character played an important role. The most beloved character for me is Gratiano because Gratiano adds a comic humour in the play.

Hi, so an English class that I enjoyed a lot would be my 9th grade English class when my teacher Mrs. Madhulika Sharma taught us a beautiful poem by Mr. Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken. It was the first time that I read that poem and it was, I could say, a monumental change in my thought process after reading that poem and sitting in that class of who I was and when, once, I had gone through that class. It was the beauty of how my teacher explained the poem and correlated and connected it to our current life and situation at the time and, till date, it's a poem that I look back to. It's a class which I remember when days are tough and it was specifically because class 9th grade in the Indian education system is a juncture after which we have to make a lot of crucial decisions in our life about our subject choices in the high school, what we have to make and often the dilemma of choosing one thing and regretting not choosing the other bothers us in day-to-day lives a lot and that poem was a reflection of not regretting the road that you have not taken, the path that you have not followed and being present in the moment and enjoying your time and decisions and standing by your decisions. So, yes, that was the poem, the class, the poem and how my teachers related it to our situation and it stayed with me, the valuable lesson that I learnt in that class and, yeah, so that was it.

Long time ago, when I was in the 3rd standard, a particular English class I remember... ...very well because it was not a regular English class lesson. One day before, one of our teachers handed her the responsibility to bring a movie CD... ...that was a movie CD of the Ramayana that was dubbed in English for our English class. The very next day, we all lined up in a queue and went to the audio-visual room of our school... ...and there it was, the big screen where the Ramayana was displayed. Obviously, I saw it with friends and I absolutely loved it... ...because it was one of my first times to ever enjoy a movie with my friends. It was memorable and yes, I would absolutely love to do it again.

In my English class, it was taught about the history of India. It had happened before couple of years before when I was in the university. The teacher enhanced the beauty of lesson was the history, the timeline as well as about the kings, those who were ruling the area. The history really it was a marvelous and adorable. Due to the war, the places and palaces, the fields and moreover the buildings of the people were destroyed by the enemies, but the kind king along with the help of local people constructed a new city for the people. When I saw and heard the history of the people, really I wondered. People and the king worked together for the betterment of the society. Specially, through the history of the particular place, we learned how much the people had interest on education. Through the education, they cultivated and learned the construction skill for constructing the new buildings, bridges and between rivers and they learned so many new techniques to cultivate. Thus, they brought huge differences in the society. When I heard this news through the English lesson, really it was a great inspiration as well as impression to me.

The English class lesson which I enjoyed the most in my childhood was about national symbols. It was undertaken when I was in 4th grade and the teacher who undertook her name was Mrs. Sangeeta Katoch. So the lesson mainly focused on Indian national symbols which included national flag, national bird, national animal. So all these things were known to us by then but then the manner in which the teacher presented them were lot different and were very very good. So she used pictorial representations along with a handcrafted image of each of the symbol for us and students found it very very interesting. So by the end of class we were able to relate and it is now etched in our memory forever.
