    I like to taste different types of cuisine. Here I would like to talk about my favorite dish at my traditional festival of Onam which is Sadya. Sadya is popular in my city. We are experimenting these cuisines on Onam festival day. Onam is a famous festival in my city. All family members get together in my home and we make a delicious Sadya. There are many ingredients includes that Sadya. Moreover, we make a big feast that day as well as we create a lot of memories together and we wear that day the traditional dress called Sari and men wear the Dhotis. That festival is really important to us because the whole day we are conducting different kinds of games at our homes and all the family members came together. It's a memorable day in my life. This is the festival. We are making the Sambar and Aviyal. These all the kinds of foods are making with the vegetables.

    The toy which I liked in my childhood was a panda doll, which makes me pleasant and makes me more blush. The pandas are the most beautiful creatures of the world, which looks gigantic and has pooshy cheeks and they are like stars in the clouds and they dream in me. Furthermore, these have been given by my father. My father is a very very beautiful artistic person, who makes me think of that. Every day you will face every difficulties and make you suffer and move forward. Pandas are always seen in Japanese countries. It is my lifelong dream to visit a Japanese country and click a photo with the original pandas, which makes sounds better.

    As India is a very large country full of diversity, so there are many places which have their own language and speak their native language. The place which I visited and I didn't know about their language was Leladakh, which is about 300 km away from my hometown and it is a very good place as it consists of different kind of trees, animals and have many scenic views and I visited over there last year in summers as it was the best time to visit because it has many, it was cold over there and we had summers in our area so it was the best time to visit over there and I went over there with my whole family.

    When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

    I remember when I was in my grade 11th and 12th, I used to love all my English classes and one of the classes that I loved very much or enjoyed very much was when I was taught Tempest during my 11th and 12th grade. The Tempest by Shakespeare and it was taught in my school and the teacher used to be asking random students to prepare an act based on the book and whichever chapter we were in, she used to call random students and ask them to enact the current situation that was going in the chapter and I used to love all the classes by her because she made it very fun and practical and we used to enjoy the acts.

    So, the last English class that I really enjoyed was when I was in my 8th grade and my English teacher Ms. Sujata loved me. We had learnt Julius Caesar that day and not just from the textbook but we also had to enact it. That made me a fan. I really enjoyed playing the Julius Caesar play and there were some really good takeaways that I had taken from that lesson that day and I have never enjoyed studying and learning from her and from the way she teaches like that ever before. Also, she really believed in me. She really got me the confidence that I needed and she really made sure that I would fit into the character. There was this another time where the same teacher had also acted as a judge for our mono acting class where I had played the role of Mantara from Ramayana. She pushed me to take up the role. It was quite challenging but she believed in me. She told me that if you couldn't then nobody would ever do it. I really aced it. I got the first place in the competition and since ever I started to believe in myself as an actor. Even now at times I do act in a few short films that are French short and I think that's where my career in acting started.

    I remember when I was in 10th standard, we had one chapter in our English textbook and that was about the asafoetida, a spice which is very common in our Indian cuisine. While teaching, it got started with a short introduction about it. As we heard the word asafoetida, the teacher asked all of us to speak something about it whatever we know. I remember very well that this chapter is being taught inside the classroom which is near to the stage of our school. As we laughed, it actually echoed over there and that was really a very chilling moment for all of us. One of my friends said that it is a sweet dish and actually it is not but it is something which is put into the dal which is made in our India. Despite of creating such humor also, the teacher encouraged all of us to ponder about it one more time. After that, many of the people said that it is a very savoury in nature and we were somehow close to that. Another thing that created a lot of fun in between the class was the pronunciation made by each and every student over there including the teacher. Many of my companions pronounced it in a funny manner for example asafoetida and that was a very refreshing moment for all of us. I can never forget that class in my whole life.

    In the month of August, in a classroom of Baiju's, I had attended an English class session in which we were being taught about phonetics. And the teacher in charge was very fun and interactive. She made the session lively by making sounds, preparing presentations, and even preparing activities for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed. And there was a plethora of activities in which we gained a lot of knowledge about phonetics. It was a wonderful class and I would always want to be taken back to that month to join the class.

    One of the best cherished memories of mine regarding an English class was learning active and passive voice. It was taught to me in my 6th grade, I learned it at school and my teacher was really lenient and friendly with others and myself. In spite of making mistakes, her demeanor and calmness encouraged everyone to learn the active and passive voice. She at first gave an example that the weather is cloudy today and it's raining and then she gave an example in passive that the cloudy weather has made it rain today. At first it was really difficult to understand because it was something new of a concept and the children were really eager to learn it and that was the highlight of that lesson and the eagerness of the children who were my friends that made the class really interesting. We were not scolded, not yelled at by the teacher in spite of making errors that day that could have really destroyed our confidence in learning it but she did no such thing and that made it really easy for us to learn active and passive voice and even today whenever I have to use the active and passive voice, I am grateful to my teacher about it.

    As a part of my IELTS preparation, I recently took a 4-day English Live Interactive Session app called UpGrad and the tutor was teaching about how to do the writing part and how to deal with the listening, reading and speaking part in a very step-by-step, in a very understandable way. I took this class two weeks before and it was held online and the thing which I really liked about the class was that it was a very interactive session and there were a lot of participants but the tutor was presenting everything in a very crisp and concise manner so that it was understandable even to a small student. In between the class, the teacher used to call random names and ask us questions which made us feel like a more one-to-one session.

    I have always been a very studious person and I used to be very attentive in my class. I always enjoyed my classroom lectures, but one of the lecture that I cannot forget, it was amazing for me. That was during my childhood when I was class 5th and in my English lecture there was a drama and I was being nominated to become a princess. So I played the role of princess and it was amazing experience which is unforgettable for my life. I got an opportunity to express my feelings and emotions. It was a platform where it allowed the expression of emotion for me. Everybody praised me so much for my acting and the way I present myself. I looked very beautiful, I dressed in a very traditional way. So that was the period, the time when I felt on top of the world. I was on cloud 9 when I was chosen to portray this role and I won this first prize because I acted very well and I portrayed myself in this role beautifully. My performance was extraordinary and everybody was very surprised to see me in such a beautiful role. I always welcome my teacher because she supported me a lot in my role. She guided me in such a way that I could be on the top position. I really appreciate the time that I shared there.

    I remember when I was in grade 10, my teacher taught us how to write resume. The way he was teaching in our class, I was really thrilled. Apart from these things, when I read about writing resume, I felt like an adult at that time because my teacher was teaching us how to read something and just put it in your words to write resume. It was so amazing to learn how to write that thing. I was with my friend and he gave us a topic to write about. There were a lot of conditions. First condition was, write a resume for a job where you have to be in the marketing place, and you have to write resume for that. So I added my imaginary things in that resume. It was so fun. It was so fun. Not only I'm using my imaginations for filling up the resume required details, but I'm also learning something which I can use at higher classes or after my graduation. It was amazing. It was a very magnificent thing for me at that time, and I'm using that information till these days. So that makes it more amazing.

    Band 6-7

    I would like to describe an English lesson that I enjoyed very much. On that day, our English teacher was talking about a drama which is on our textbook. It is a short drama and she tried to express that in her presentation. She tried to deliver each and every sentence in the correct expression. We all loved that. Actually, she acts really well. She encouraged us to do that drama in class with full make-up and everything. We write the script and we do it in front of the whole classroom. That was the funniest part. I really enjoyed it because those memories are very important to me. Her performance was also absolutely good. After the show that we did in the classroom, she gave small gifts like notebooks, pens, storybooks to each and every kid that participated in that drama. All my classmates really appreciated us that we will try our best. I remember now, I really loved that time. That's all.

    So, it was definitely when I was in class 10th, when I was in standard, there was a teacher who teaches us English and she was really good. She teaches us in a way that we really interact with her and she doesn't make us feel like teaching. She creates an environment really friendly and I really enjoy taught with her. She teaches us different activities by which we get to learn more and more about grammars and tenses and there are so many things that we need to learn in the future also, but I believe that that was the most favourite classes of my life because I really interact with her. It feels like a family because she creates a type of environment with the students to interact better and to communicate better and she told me once that teaching a language is not easy. If you are teaching a language, you need to interact with students and need to create an environment where students don't think like teaching because students that time have a mindset of taking pressure on their mind because of the subjects, but she doesn't make us feel like that. She was really amazing and she was the best teacher of my whole life and if I would have a chance to meet her again in the future, I would definitely want to meet her.
