When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

An English class lesson that I can never forget in my life is the story Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I remember my teacher taking this lesson when I was in my 8th grade in my school in Valparai. I remember this particular class in specific because of the way my teacher took the class. It was very descriptive. I still remember how my teacher allotted different characters to different students and made us read the lesson. Furthermore, she added intonation to each and every dialogue and how the character spoke which was very interesting. In addition to that, I loved the storyline which was a fantasy fiction. As a child, I think all children would want to read fantasy and I remember how my imagination went up to the highest level and how I wanted to be how it feels to be Alice. So I still remember how the storyline had Hatter as Alice's friend who helped her and made her happy when she was sad. It was something that caught my attention and I always wanted a Hatter in my life. Later on, when I grew up, I saw the movie Alice in Wonderland and it brought me back all the way to my class 8 and how I cherished that particular moment. So I think I will forever remember that day when I was introduced to Alice in her Wonderland.

I did an online class from 2022 to 2023. Mr. Shiny Hawk used to teach us, it was totally online session. From that time, I used to learn how to speak clearly, write clearly and read clearly. During that time, I enjoyed mostly when she always asked us, just notice a thing in your home and try to speak anything, whatever the language may be come into your mind, it may be wrong or right. Don't think about that. Just think about your fluency. Maybe you mistake on grammar pronunciation, but fluency and confidence is a necessary thing to speak fluently. And at the end of the class, she always start a music and obviously it is a Western music, English music and she always taught us to sang this music with the lyrics and I enjoyed the most. I never got this type of session before this because she always taught us that English is a language. Don't feel English.

Well, there were several English classes which I took at my college during my first year, which is also known as foundation year for my college studies. One of the best classes of English was taken by one of my favorite teachers, Mr. John, last year during summer break. Well, in that class, I learned about Shakespeare and how he became a writer. One of the reasons I really loved the class was that it was a very interactive session and we had to perform a skit and prepare a skit and then perform it accordingly in front of the teachers. In addition to that, he also told us that what all things he faced during his upbringing and what were the challenges he faced during learning the English and becoming a world famous, a world renowned poet. And also, he was very much into the likes of academic writing and how he became a world world. Therefore, because the class was very interactive, I liked it very much.

So, once in the morning, our English teacher, she taught us a wonderful poem known as Leisure, which talks, where the title explains about the free time, which was written by, I think Sir Thomas Belphin, I think so, if I am good at recollecting it, and also our class teacher taught us during a morning session when, and this was taught between the periods when we were having our monthly and seasonal lectures, such as during our curricular activities, and our teacher taught this poem in a very exciting and wonderful way, which helped us to understand a lot of things. On top of that, the teacher also gave us a good example while experiencing this leisure, and she also connected her real-life experience for our better understanding, and she also illustrated a few examples, so that we can understand, and basically the poem states about, the poem she taught that day was about the leisure, the free time that everyone needs to remove free time for their self, rather than getting busy in their life, so that the person can be free and have some peace in their life. At the same time, the class was taken in the morning session,

Being a learner, I love to learn everything, I mean I enjoy English classes, but today I would like to talk about an English lesson which I enjoyed a lot. Firstly, when I was in school, I was struggling to speak in English or reading, especially in reading, but now I am able to speak in English and read in English. Most of the people use a quote, if you learn, speak in English with fluency or without hesitation, you can speak in English, you can eat in English, you can sleep in English. Moreover, I enrolled in Arunachal classes, in this classes I learned so many things from other people, because most of the people join this class from different, different states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab or from I mean North India. Furthermore, I gained a lot of knowledge, vocabulary and some writing structure, even I improved my reading. Speaking skill I also improved in this class, because I most of the time I conversate with some other people which are not able to speak in English, but I am good at in English.

This was an English class that left an impact on me, was a lesson based on the gift of the Magi. I took this class when I was in my 12th standard, and my English teacher gave such a vivid description of what was being taught, so I was able to imagine what was really happening and then have vivid descriptions about the love, the gift, and so it really was a class which I enjoyed. The gift of the Magi is actually about a couple who are very poor, but the love for each other, had them wanting to give each other a gift during Christmas, and so the wife had a very long hair. In order to give a gift for her husband, she cut off her hair and she sold her hair, and the husband had a wristwatch which was gifted to him by his father, but in order to buy his wife a gift, he sold the watch and bought his wife a hair comb, and they gifted each other the gifts, despite their poor situation, their love for each other had no boundaries, no limitations, that's why it left such an impact, because it gave such emphasis on the love that they had for each other and why it is so important. My English teacher gave such a vivid description of it, so I was able to imagine it and see it in my head.

I can recollect taking English classes at my school, which was Loretto Day School, Beaux-Bazaars. It was an enthralling experience. I absolutely loved English lessons taught by my teacher, Mrs. Deema. Who was very patient and kind with students? It truly made reading novels a treat because we got a different viewpoint altogether. It was an open class debate which allowed different people to put forth different ideologies and perspectives. Summing up to this, I can say that whatever English capabilities I develop, be it reading, writing or even listening, I owe it to Mrs. Pillai. Because of her lessons, I am whatsoever fluent in English and am able to converse in English.

We had one of our language class as an English class from my 1st standard to 12th standard. Particularly in 11th standard, there was an English class teacher. She is a person who takes the class with humorous things. When she starts to explain about any subject, she will definitely link some story along with that. That story will be very hilarious. We used to enjoy a lot in that class. Since it has been 10 years, I have completed my 11th standard. Whenever I want to recollect my school days, definitely my English class teacher reminds me a lot. I will sit in the front seat, so that I don't have to stand. Yes, you can stand.

An English class I've learned recently was a grammar subject known as Tenses. The reason why I took this class is just because I wanted to learn about the pronunciations of past tense, present tense and future tense as I was very weak on it. And I gradually assessed in my previous years that I am not even doing good and this special classes were taken in my school as a part of an extra session to improve your grammatical abilities. The main reason that it helped me out as this is a teacher who taught us, who was one of the best English teacher in our school and the way she taught us with very good examples. First of all she was explaining us every, whether it be a past, perfect or maybe a future tense, she was explaining all the definitions of each tense and then explaining it in different examples related to real life which made it more interesting and it was quite enjoyable. As we saw that it was merely a full class where a lot of students were there at the time to learn the tenses. So it basically helped us a lot in my future regarding my grammar, it improved a lot in my sentence framing, how I am able to write something in tenses.
