Benefits

  • Interns will get a monthly 30,000 NTD (77,910 INR) grant for a maximum of three months.

How to apply?

You must apply online through the official portal following certain steps

  • Create a username and password to log in to the application and check on the status of it.
  • Review the terms and conditions.
  • Create an online profile and complete the application questions.
  • Upload all required documents, including:
    • Online application form
    • Head-shot Photo (360×480 pixel)
    • Photocopy of Student ID
    • Official offer letter or certificate of enrollment
    • Department Recommendation Letter
    • Curriculum Vitae (in English or/and Chinese; limited to two A4 pages per version)
  • Review your profile information and update it if necessary.
  • Submit your application.
  • You can revise the profile any time before the application deadline

Selection Process

The process of internship and matchmaking are as follows

  • Registration
    • IIPP account application
    • Student must be currently enrolled
  • Matchmaking
    • PI begins to find foreign students; students begin to find internships in Taiwan on the IIPP platform
    • The qualification review principle of IIPP considers the student’s academic potential, a balanced allocation of resources, and diversity of nationality. So, each PI can recruit no more than two interns with different nationalities.
  • Agreement
    • Under the circumstance of both sides knowing each other and having a consensus to begin the internship, only the PI can begin the second round of match-making
    • Students reply to accept the internship opportunity
    • PI upload the internship acceptance letter to student
    • Student been awarded and confirmed the intern period (start day and end day) approved by the PI
  • Acceptance Confirmation
    • Upon positive confirmation, IIPP will send the acceptance letter to the intern through our platform
    • NSTC send approved official document to overseas embassy and internship institutes
    • PI provides the approved official document to apply for VISA
