Here is the list of different scholarships offered by the University of Sydney to Indian students. Most programs do not require a separate application for scholarships. 1. Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program

This is the most recent and generous scholarship program awarded by the University of Sydney specifically to undergraduate and postgraduate students from India. The purpose of this scholarship is to foster relations with India that will facilitate research. The University of Sydney offers a maximum of 28 scholarships under this program – 3 scholarships of $40,000 per year for undergraduate studies, $20,000 scholarships to 10 first-year students for undergraduate or postgraduate studies, and $10,000 scholarships to 10 first-year students. The University of Sydney has offered the Sydney Scholars India Scholarship to 14 Indian students in 2020. Only Indian students who receive an unconditional offer to pursue a full-time degree at the University of Sydney are eligible for this scholarship. Scholarship Value- up to $40,000 let student. The total amount of this scholarship is $500,000.

2. Sydney Scholars Award

The Sydney Scholars Award is an undergraduate scholarship available to all international students who have completed their senior secondary education and have applied for an undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney. Scholarship Value- $6,000 for one year of undergraduate studies.

3. Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships Scheme 

This scholarship scheme is available to all international students who have applied for a CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) registered coursework degree at the University of Sydney. Students who receive an unconditional offer to study CRICOS registered courses at the university are eligible for this internship. Scholarship Value- Up to $40,000. This scholarship is provided to four candidates. First, $40,000 is paid for both semesters in a year in two instalments. The remaining amount is divided into three scholarships worth $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 for one semester.

4. Sydney International Student Award (India)

This scholarship offers partial funding of 20% of the tuition fee for a year for first-year Indian students. University does not consider applications of students with dual citizenship. Students who have received admission to a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the university are eligible for the scholarship. The University of Sydney does not provide this scholarship for MBA, execution courses or distance learning programs. Indian students have to submit a personal statement to apply for the scholarship.

  • Business faculty

Business School International Scholarship This scholarship is provided to international students who have received admission to a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Sydney Business School.   • Faculty of Law

Charles Herbert Currey Memorial Scholarship International students enrolled at the University of Sydney Law School, or alumni of the school are eligible for this scholarship. It is specifically provided to students who have undertaken a 10-month fellowship at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, Netherlands. The selection criteria for this scholarship include academic merit, CV, and personal statement demonstrating relevant work experience in public international law. Scholarship Value- $13,000
