The painting is about the pressing problem related to the environmental issues in our society. One of the right side, there is a solution, switching to the public transportation with the beautiful metro train shown on it. The middle part focuses on the water pollution, showing how plastic bags are damaging and closing our drains and reaching the ocean through various water bodies. The solution provided is banning plastic bags and switching to jute bags. The third and the last one part of the painting is the sound pollution, which shows various vehicles blowing horns and some people playing loud music. Okay, so the painting I like was made by my sibling and it was a portrait of a lady and it took him around a week to complete and I was mesmerized with how much detailing he did in it. Like, it has everything and anything similar and exactly same as the photo of the lady and specially the eyes, it felt like it was real. It's not even on the paper and because he used charcoal pencil, whenever a light reflects on it, it shines, it makes it more pretty, according to me.

Follow up questions

What emotions does the painting evoke for you?
The painting evokes a sense of admiration and pride for my sibling's talent. It also makes me feel nostalgic, as it reminds me of the moments we spent together while he was creating it. The lifelike representation of the lady's eyes adds a layer of depth that stirs my emotions.

How does your sibling's art influence your view on creativity?
My sibling's art has greatly influenced my view on creativity. It shows me that creativity can be expressed in various forms and that dedication to detail can elevate a simple portrait into something extraordinary. It inspires me to appreciate and explore my own creative interests.

Have you ever tried painting or drawing yourself?
Yes, I have tried painting a few times, but I never felt as skilled as my sibling. I enjoy it as a hobby, but I focus more on enjoying the process rather than achieving perfection. It helps me relax and express myself, even if my results aren't as impressive as his.

One of the paintings which I have recently liked is the one which my friend has drawn. It is a normal painting with a scenic view, but I personally believe that painting is just not an art, but a way of expressing ourself. I like that painting a lot because it just not only depicted the calmness of the nature, but it also shows the person and the life of a person, how we can relate it to nature. If we talk about the painting, it is a painting with a scenery and a person who is trying to cross the river in his boat. Now frankly speaking, I personally believe it is a kind of painting which depicted my current situation. That is the reason I love the most because that painting shows the loneliness of that person and to be honest, when I saw that painting, I was really down and I was going through a lot in my personal life, so maybe that is the reason it has created a long lasting impact in my mind and my life and that is the reason I still remember that painting. It has not been painted by any great artist like I have mentioned earlier. One of my friend has painted that painting, but as I said, it was one of the most beautiful paintings which I have ever seen because it depicted the personal life of any person looking at that painting.

Follow up questions

What emotions do you feel when you look at that painting?
When I look at that painting, I feel a mix of calmness and sadness. It reminds me of my own struggles and the solitude that can come with them. The serene scenery contrasts with the loneliness of the person in the boat, which resonates deeply with my emotions.

How do you think art can impact our emotions?
Art has a profound ability to evoke emotions and provoke thoughts. It can serve as a mirror to our own experiences, allowing us to connect with our feelings. A painting can inspire hope, reflect sadness, or even bring joy, depending on the viewer's personal context and experiences.

Do you think art should always have a deeper meaning?
While some art can be appreciated for its aesthetic value alone, I believe that deeper meanings enrich our experience. Art that resonates with our personal stories or emotions can create a stronger connection, making it more impactful and memorable.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

My favorite painting is the Starry Night by Vengosan. I think it's a very subtle and colorful painting and shows the deep meaning around it. As in this picture there is a black flame tower in a town where there's a night of a starry night in fact. The colors, blue colors and yellow shows how the stars are moving, the wind is blowing. It shows a prettiness of the painting. I first saw it in my school days when my teacher gave me an assignment to paint, draw a picture of your liking, of your favorite artist. I had no taste in paintings until I saw the Vengosan's Starry Night. It took my breath away. The way he painted, the way he did his work was remarkable. I appreciated it a lot. I couldn't took my eyes off it for a long time and knew that this is the one I want to draw. This is the one I want to cherish my paints with. This is the one I want to give life by my own hand. Not the best, not like him but I tried my best to showcase what he wanted to do to the world with this painting, the Starry Night.
