Brno University of Technology tuition fees for international students vary by faculty, not by university. The table lists the non-EU rate that applies to Indian passport holders, taken from BUT's official program listing.

The practical takeaway on Brno University of Technology fees is simple. Engineering and IT at FIT or FME is the cheapest route, and business at FBM is the most expensive, a gap of Rs.2,18,000 every year.

Three faculties charge EU citizens less than non-EU citizens. At FEEC, EU and Ukrainian students pay EUR 1,000 while non-EU students pay EUR 4,500. Many aggregator sites quote the lower EU figure, which makes Brno University of Technology fees look cheaper than they are for Indian applicants. FIT, FME, FA and FFA charge everyone the same rate.

Among the Brno University of Technology English taught programs, a few double-degree and specialist programs carry no tuition at all. Doctoral fees follow the same faculty-led pattern. FEEC offers its English-language doctoral programs free of charge, while FIT charges Rs.4,36,000 (EUR 4,000) per year for its English PhD. Check the doctoral page of your target faculty, as rules differ.

Brno University of Technology tuition is free for Indian students only in Czech-taught programs. BUT states that Czech programs cost nothing for students from any country, while English programs carry a fee. The catch is language: you must prove Czech proficiency, usually through an accredited Czech language exam, before admission.

For most Indian applicants, this usually means a one-year Czech language course before the degree, which adds its own cost and a year to your timeline. The Brno University of Technology application fee for international students is EUR 28 (Rs.3,052) for each application. You pay a separate EUR 30 (Rs.3,270) if BUT assesses your Indian degree as part of admission. Both fees are listed for the 2026-27 admission cycle.

Brno University of Technology application fees apply per program, so applying to two programs doubles the cost. Shortlist carefully. • FME: Mechanical Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Aerospace Technology

For 2026-27, JCMM registration ran from 1 February to 30 April 2026, with final selection on 30 June 2026. The 2027-28 window has not yet been announced; check the JCMM scholarship page from January 2027.

BUT also offers an accommodation scholarship for full-time students whose permanent address is outside Brno, plus merit scholarships set by each faculty. FME states that students in its English programs do not receive faculty scholarships, so confirm eligibility with your faculty before you count on either in your budget.

Counselor insight: The JCMM scholarship is paid against the second half of your fee, so you still need the full first-year tuition in hand when you enroll. Plan cash flow for the full amount and treat the scholarship as a refund, not a discount at the start.

Brno University of Technology fees are paid in euros, directly to your faculty's bank account. FEEC accepts tuition only in euros, and the fee must be paid before enrollment, with proof delivered by 15 September. FME sends a payment request after enrollment, while BUT's general rule is payment in September at the start of each academic year.

Keep these points in mind:

• Transfer in EUR, not INR or CZK. A transfer in the wrong currency can arrive short after conversion charges.
• Add your name as the payment reference. Faculties match payments by student surname.
• Budget for bank charges. Indian banks and intermediary banks may deduct fees, so send a small buffer.
• Ask early about splitting payments. BUT's admission office directs students who want to split the fee to their faculty coordinator.

If your payment is delayed: email your faculty's study department before the deadline with your transfer receipt (SWIFT copy). A documented transfer in progress is usually treated differently from a missed payment, but only the faculty can confirm your enrollment.
