• Currency: tuition is priced in euros, but AGH may convert it into zloty using the National Bank of Poland's average euro rate on the day you pay.
• Year-on-year changes: fees can rise between intakes. Bachelor Computer Science was listed at EUR 2,200 per semester for the 2025 intake. For 2026-27 it is EUR 3,000 per semester.

AGH's Bachelor listing shows the EUR 3,000 and EUR 2,500 programs running for 7 semesters (3.5 years), and one EUR 1,725 program running for 6 semesters. Check the AGH syllabus for the exact length of your program before you multiply.

Counselor insight: Most students who want to code apply only to computer science. Computer Science for Embedded Systems runs for the same 7 semesters and costs Rs. 3,77,814 less over the full degree. If hardware-software work interests you at all, apply to both.

AGH University of Krakow Fees for Master Programs

AGH lists 21 English-taught Master programs for 2026-27. Programs with the same fee are grouped together below.

One program is listed at zero tuition. The raw materials value chain is shown at EUR 0 and is run with foreign and domestic partners under an EIT RawMaterials project covering 2021-2027. Whether Indian applicants qualify for the zero fee is.

AGH also warns that some programs will open only if enough candidates are accepted.

Counselor insight: BTech Mechanical and Electrical graduates often choose between Mechatronics (€2,100) and one of the Energy programs (€2,200). That fee gap is only Rs. 10,795 per semester, so choose on curriculum and career fit, not fees. The bigger jump is to the two Management programs at €3,500.

AGH asks you to pay recruitment fees separately for each study form and level, because combining payments can cause crediting problems.

Counselor insight: Parents usually miss the repeat-class charge. If you fail a 30-hour course, re-taking it costs Rs. 7,479. That's a small sum, but it's also a signal to take the first semester seriously.

AGH Accommodation and Living Costs in Krakow

AGH runs Poland's largest student campus, Miasteczko Studenckie, with its own official price list. Monthly rates for AGH students in 2026-27 are below.

Komfort+ rooms are doubles with their own bathroom and a small kitchenette. Basic rooms hold two or three students in bunk beds, and four rooms share one bathroom. The campus has no single rooms. AGH also says places are limited. Rates for 2027-28 are not published yet.

Two other verified monthly costs:

• Transport: a student metropolitan ticket for Zone I costs Rs. 2,406 (PLN 96.50) a month. Students who hold Karta Krakowska status pay less, with a network monthly ticket at PLN 49.50 or an annual student ticket at PLN 470. Whether Indian students can get Karta Krakowska status is.
• Health cover: non-EU students can join Poland's public health insurance (NFZ) voluntarily for a contribution of PLN 55.80 a month, which is Rs. 1,391.

Total Cost of Studying at AGH per Year

These two 12-month budgets use official figures only. Food is left out until a verified source is added.

In your first year, add about Rs. 3,789 in one-time charges: the recruitment fee with the exam, your student ID and dorm check-in.

The dorm line assumes you stay for all 12 months. Summer arrangements may differ.

How AGH University of Krakow Fees Affect Your Visa Bank Balance

Your Polish national visa (Type D) application must show enough money for return travel, living expenses and accommodation.

The VFS India study checklist gives this example: an applicant from India on a 365-day visa needs at least PLN 10,912 (PLN 701 x 12 months + PLN 2,500), with accommodation costs on top. Worked through for AGH:

• Return travel plus 12 months of living: Rs. 2,72,036 (PLN 10,912)
• Komfort dorm for 12 months: Rs. 2,06,420 (PLN 8,280)
• Total before tuition: Rs. 4,78,457

Some official sources give a higher monthly figure. A Polish voivodeship office states that from 1 January 2025 the minimum is PLN 1,010 per month for a single-person household. That figure applies to residence permits. At PLN 1,010 a month, the same calculation rises to Rs. 5,70,897. Confirm which figure VFS India currently applies.

Two rules on documents matter for Indian families:

• Freshness: financial documents cannot be issued more than one month before you submit your visa application.
• Accepted proof: the checklist accepts a credit-card limit certificate from any bank, including one in India, but a certificate of funds must come from a bank located in Poland, not India.

Scholarships and Fee Waivers for AGH University of Krakow Fees

For most Indian students, the realistic ways to reduce AGH University of Krakow fees are external scholarships and AGH's own support schemes.

AGH's own schemes. AGH offers a Rector's scholarship, a scholarship for students with disabilities, a social scholarship and aid for students in need. Indian eligibility for each is.

NAWA programs. You apply to NAWA directly, AGH plays no part in the application, and you upload the scholarship decision to e-Rekrutacja. If you hold a NAWA decision, AGH sets your financial conditions according to it, which can include a tuition exemption.

Standard exemptions usually don't apply to you. AGH's standard exemptions cover full-time study in Polish for holders of documents such as the Card of the Pole or permanent residence. They don't apply to most Indian students on English-taught programs.

Counselor insight: Start NAWA research at the same time as your AGH application, not after admission. By the time most students think about scholarships, the calls for that year have already closed.

AGH's payment deadlines are 15 October for the first semester of an October start. In later years, winter semesters are due by 30 September and summer semesters by 15 March.
