Placements

Some of ICL,s courses require you to complete a year-long industrial placement as part of your degree, but you can also do shorter internships during your college breaks.

The Placement and Internship Unit of the Careers Service is dedicated to assisting students in finding placements both in the UK and internationally. Every year, over 7,000 firms post job openings on ICL's online vacancy service, JobsLive and your department may receive placement details immediately.

Through the Careers Service's Professional Project Fund, you can also get a stipend to help you complete a four-week internship in the UK not-for-profit sector.
