What a Free Student Working Visa in Finland Actually Covers?

Migri’s current guidance asks higher-education students to complete approximately 45 credits per academic year for renewal. Falling short doesn’t mean automatic rejection; it means attaching an explanation, such as a supervisor’s note or medical certificate.

Register with DVV, collect a tax card, and you’re clear to work from week one. What to Do in Your First Two Weeks?
- Register your address and collect your Finnish personal ID at a DVV service point as soon as you land.
