2. Research Ireland Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship (GOIPG)
The Irish government mostly helps people get a PhD this way. That's a pretty rare award that pays for both your school and living costs. The problem is that you can't apply directly; you have to go through the Irish boss you want to work for. This means you have to find a boss before the deadline in January.
