The SAT exam evaluates your reading, writing, and mathematical skills in a multiple-choice question format. Universities and colleges worldwide accept scores between 1400 and 1600. This exam can significantly enhance your application profile and global career opportunities.

Upcoming Dates for SAT 2024

The SAT exam is available throughout the year, typically offered about seven times, providing the flexibility to choose a date that suits your schedule. The exam is usually held in March, May, June, August, October, November, and December. 

As we’ve already mentioned, the last registration date for those who plan to take the exam in August 2024 is August 9. But if this is too short notice, you’ll be happy to know that a late registration option is available until August 13, 2024. Keep in mind that additional charges will apply!

Note: The registration window for the SAT exam is usually open 3-4 weeks prior to the test date; it’s advisable to book your slot early as seats may fill up quickly!

How to Register for the SAT Exam

SAT exam registration can be done online or offline(via mail). Online registration is usually the most preferred method as it is faster and more convenient. 

If you’re opting for the offline method, you’ll be happy to know that the SAT exam centres are spread across 44 cities in India!

To register online, follow these steps:

• Visit the College Board website
• Log in to your account or create a new one
• Fill out your details 
• Select a test date and location
• Upload your photo
• Pay the registration fee to complete the process
