Earlier, the university was developed as a public library and a community college known as the Portsmouth Polytechnic. Academic Requirements:




Students should have successfully passed Grade 12 with an average of at least 75% on state board exams or 70% on CBSE/ISC exams. The university prefers appropriate levels of A (GCE advanced level). Admission requires an International Baccalaureate with a minimum score of 24.




A bachelor's degree with at least second-class honours is required of all applicants. For some courses, work experience may be necessary. Since the majority of the university's courses are career-focused, there may be distinct or higher score requirements for these.
