• Newcastle University is happy to announce the availability of 39 Vice-Excellence Chancellor's Scholarships (VCES) for excellent overseas students wishing to begin full-time Master's study.

• 50% of tuition fees for 37 applicants
• 100% of tuition fees for 2 applicants

To be considered for the 50% scholarship : 

• Be a citizen of one of the following countries: Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, the United States of America, Mexico, Ukraine, Central America*, and South America**
• Be classified as international for the purpose of calculating fees
• Hold an offer for an appropriate Master's degree programme at the University of Newcastle's city centre campus for the academic year 2022/23 
• Already have or anticipate to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or higher

To be considered for the 100% scholarship : 

• Be an Indian, Ghanaian, Nigerian, or Ukrainian citizen
• Hold an offer for an eligible Master's degree programme at the University's Newcastle city centre campus for the 2022/23 academic year 
• Already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above

• Scholarship applications should be filed using the postgraduate admissions portal's "scholarship applications" section. 
• Other submissions will be rejected.
