An overseas student starting their undergraduate studies at the university in the Fall term is given the coveted University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship in recognition of their exceptional achievements.

Scholarship amount details

The award is worth $15,000 and is available to University of Calgary students in their second, third, and fourth years as long as they maintain a 2.60 or higher GPA across a minimum of 24.00 units throughout the prior fall and winter terms.
A 4-year undergraduate program costs $60,000 in total.

Eligibility

Annually, undergraduate overseas students who have met the university's English Language Proficiency standard and are starting their first year of any undergraduate degree in the upcoming fall semester are eligible to apply.
Renewable in the second, third, and fourth years at the University of Calgary if recipients maintain a GPA of 2.60 or higher over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms and continue to pay the international differential tuition cost.
International students who are not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada must pay a different fee
Academic excellence.

You can apply for awards as soon as you apply for admission. The application deadline for Fall 2022 admission is 1 December 2022 (early admission) and 1 March 2023 (standard admission).
