• Tina Watkins is a model and actress. 
• Scholarships are available to students who are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree. 
• Texas A&M University receives two scholarships each year, one at the start of the Spring semester and the other in the Fall semester.

• The Tina Watkins Scholarship is only available to self-supporting overseas students presently enrolled at Texas A&M University. ELI students enrolled full-time are not eligible. 
• Students that are interested in attending are not eligible. 
• At the time of application, applicants must be enrolled as degree-seeking students at Texas A&M University in their first, second, or third semester. 
• A student who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and does not have an immigration visa is classified as an international student. 
• Applications must be accompanied by a letter of nomination.

• To apply, students must be in excellent academic standing, with a minimum cumulative GPR of 2.0 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduates. 
• Tina Watkins Scholarships cannot be awarded to the same student more than once.

Eligible students apply for university scholarships through the institution's scholarship application page. The steps to do so are as follows:

• Logging in requires students to use their Net ID.
• The next step is to fill out the eligibility and financial resources pages in the application's international or study abroad section.
• Tina Watkins scholarship applications require a nomination letter from any Texas A&M University faculty member in addition to the application form. 

The letters of nomination must be prepared in English and include the following information:

1. The student's name
2. Relationship between the nominator and the student
3. Checking for financial need
4. A student's academic success is described in a statement of purpose.
5. Academic excellence and interest in extracurricular activities are used to compare the candidate to other students.
