The Nextgen Scholarship

About the Scholarship

P.E.R.K. Consulting provides the NextGen Scholarship in an effort to aid non-citizens and international students who travel to the US to pursue higher education.
A consulting company called P.E.R.K. Consulting specialises in capacity building and business development for non-profits and small enterprises.
The NextGen Scholarship was inspired by the reality that deserving overseas students miss out on opportunities due to a lack of funding.
High school seniors who have been accepted to college and current undergraduates enrolled in 2 or 4 year programmes are eligible for one annual award from the NextGen Scholarship.
The NextGen Scholarship is also a regional scholarship programme for Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Note that the submissions are evaluated based on merit and financial need.

Eligibility

Applicants must be international students or non-citizens enrolled in a US school and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Applicants must live in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia at the time of application. OR get accepted into a college or institution in the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia tri-state region.
A qualified and outstanding high school senior or current college student at a two-year or four-year college is awarded the scholarship.

Application Process

A professor, teacher, principal, or high school guidance counsellor must write one of the letters of recommendation. An employer, church member, coach, or mentor may also provide a letter of recommendation for the candidate.
Essay: You must write two essays. Each essay should be around 500 words long. Applicants must write about two of the four essay themes.
It's necessary to submit an official transcript.
Proof of college or university acceptance or enrollment
Online application is required. The student also has to send the supporting documents to the below address:
