• The University of Toronto's Lester B. Pearson Overseas Scholarships provide excellent international students an unrivalled chance to study at one of the world's greatest universities in one of the world's most multicultural cities. 
• The scholarship programme is designed to honour students who excel academically and creatively, as well as those who are recognised as leaders in their schools. 
• The student's impact on the lives of their school and community, as well as their future potential to contribute constructively to the global community, are given significant consideration.
• These scholarships, which are given out annually, honour outstanding students from all over the world, including international students studying in Canadian high schools. 
• This is the most prestigious and competitive international student scholarship at U of T. 
• Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships will cover four years of tuition, books, incidental fees, and complete living expenses.
•  The grant is only available to first-year undergraduate students at the University of Toronto. Lester B. Pearson Scholars will be named every year to roughly 37 students.

• The scholarship will cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years. The scholarship is tenable only at the University of Toronto

• To be eligible for the Pearson International Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
• A foreign student (i.e., someone who is not a Canadian and needs a study permission);
• You must be in your final year of high school or have graduated by June 2021.
• In September 2022, you will begin your studies at the University of Toronto (students already attending post-secondary studies cannot be considered; students starting their studies in January 2022 at another post-secondary institution cannot be considered)

To apply, you must first:

• Receive a nomination from your school (High schools that have not yet been contacted/verified are required to fill out an application to participate in our programme, which can be found here.)
• Apply to study at the University of Toronto and submit your application for admission by the necessary deadlines to begin your studies in 2022. 
• Please be aware that the Pearson Scholarship will be considered for your first choice of programme at U of T. 
• You may apply to many programmes and be accepted to all of them; but, if you are awarded the Pearson Scholarship, you will be limited to your first choice of study at U of T at the time our scholarship choices are announced.
