The Stamps Scholarship is UM's most prestigious merit award available to students at the University of Miami. This scholarship is awarded to exceptional and academically accomplished high school seniors.

Early Decision I and Early Action applicants are automatically considered when they apply for early admission to UM by submitting all First-Year Admission Requirements by November 1. 

Semi-finalist Stamps Scholarship candidates are required to produce a brief answer to a pre-determined essay prompt.

Finalists will be chosen based on a review of candidates' applications and supporting documentation, including their responses to the pre-determined essay prompt, and will be notified of their status as finalists during the late January admissions process.

Following that, the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation will interview the finalists, and the Stamps Scholarship will be announced in early March.
