Scholarship amount details
- Each of the 50 prizes is worth £8000 and can be used to pay for one year of full-time study on a postgraduate Masters program at any of Scotland's higher education institutions.
Eligibility
- Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for a Saltire Scholarship:
- Have a conditional or unconditional offer of a place on a qualifying degree at a Scottish institution, which will be offered physically in Scotland, online, or a combination of both.
Be a citizen of Canada, India, Japan, the United States of America, Pakistan, or China (Hong Kong citizens are also eligible as it is a Special Administrative Region of China).
Be able to show that they can afford to pay for living expenses in Scotland (if applicable) as well as the remaining tuition fees.
I've never studied in Scotland before.
You must not have received a Saltire Scholarship in the past.
Meet the course's language requirements.- Fill up an application and submit it. The deadline is May 31, 2022.
Application Process
- Prepare answers to the following 6 essay questions in advance, with each question having a word restriction of 150 words.
- Submission of an essay: Because the application cannot be saved after it is started, we recommend that you prepare your answers for these questions offline.
